I still prefer hlb for the the monthly interest and the interest portion itself that i'm going to receive will allow me to earn extra hence able to reach around 4.15%

The HL Islamic 12 mth 4.05% for min 100k, if can nego to 4.1% with monthly interest, would be better than the 6 mth 4.05% one. I am keeping this as an option next week. Large amt due and have to move out from BR.

BR no FD promo, can only get 3.9% 12mth nego rate as compared to their board rate of 3.7%.

I dont really understand about their offer, does that means they will allocate half of the funds to either gold or unit trust investment portfolio?

I still prefer 6 months over 12 months because there could be better fd promo after 6mths but this is my personal assumption

If compare with br then hlb will be better choice especially you are moving out large amt.

BR is awash with deposits. RM1 mil or not cannot get you those special nego rates anymore like in the past.

Surprised that you got 3.9% when they are giving 3.95% when you have been with them for a while.

Last year BR 4.5% FD maturing next week to early Apr. Looking for new homes for these FD now.

MBSB I think is a possibility as in Jan I got 4.2% with them. But I think placed enough dough there now. As whether the 4.15%/4.2% will be until Apr, hard to say. Now I hope at least next week can still get it as the first step.

Already nego with BR. They do not have FD promo, 12 mth board rate 3.7%. Can only get 3.9% which I told them too low. So pulling out next week. Then early Apr will depend on any new promo. But I hate it. 3/4 due, Monday first working day of the Apr month.

Me low profile, since i group some of my funds for better rate & with Ambank's & BR's 24 months promo rate, sometimes for few months I got no FD to renew.

i'll take the gamble then for next month, worst case is try out MBSB or Ambank's 4.08% for 8 months.

I think we both have the BR's 4.5% FD from last year. Miss all the 4.5/4.6% FD's ................

But have diversified a little bit to 5 yrs CIMB bond and some UT. Though still substantial in FD.

BR wise seems not interested in getting more FD money. They virtually has no FD promo for like a month or more, unlike last 2 or 3 years. AmBank is also in my list though dislike the 8 short months. May nego with AmBank or HL as part of the plan as well.

Oh, I think MBSB could offer higher rate to maybe 4.2%. Call them to nego.

This HL really "keng" !! Except may have to lose interest for days just to get the special rate. I know someone will say put in MBB GIA i first. Depends on the person and convenience to do so.
