Whattt? I guess I'm the last person to come to know about this. I thought it'll never work with machine that needs to slot in the card like Petrol station using.

All this while I thought Samsung Pay won't work hence I've been swiping my cc as usual.

I wanted to try but I was scared it would be dangerous to use the phone at the pump hence never tried before. I'm also worried some might be concerned when they see people using their phone at the pump.

So how do you do it? Just hold your phone at the black card reader?

But just register as member want to share my expirience
Sorry for my long story below...

I using Samsung Pay at BHP since launch
Rarely have issue with CIMB master card

Normally no problem using at pump
It will show up RM200 on apps
And will update to correct amt after 2 or 3 days if time of update your phone is connected internet
If time of update no internet it will show RM200 until out from list
This does not affect your bank statement
Just have some number of terminal nothing happen to samsung pay
Using physical card working
Maybe firmware not configure correctly
And one time encounter small BHP station no termianl at pump
So i go to counter
That guy not let me use
Said rule of BNM PIN is required for card usage
So i no argue with he just take out physical card
When using on pump you need stick your phone more that 1 second
If not card error messege will show

McD is most troble less expirience
Very easy just say to staff using card

Petrol using old terminal
Cannot use

Hari hari butik not let me use

99 speed mart not all outlet can use
Not sure why even have new terminal

Perodua SC no issue
And say first time seeing this even a lot of customer using samsung phone

i have my own credit card terminal which support samsung pay. so been swiping and typing password for the whole day trying to accumulate points.

end up now only realize each month only 50 maximum transactions....

How to check previous transaction records?

My samsungpay page only showed records for points, cannot find how many RM spent, which shop,date bla bla.

Mean currently BHP is most easily using spay

just done samsung pay at guardian, kinda fussy tho, use cimb cash rebate card, tap at front, twice it got rejected. Then change to maybank2card visa, only can go thru. And the guarding cashier asked to show my card front number. Btw i just noticed the number showing is not the card number, is the digital card number, wont that be confusing?

I found that a few of Guardian outlets now have minimum amount to pay using card (RM 50). It’s very inconvenient for the customer to use cashless method to pay. Hope more customers can make reports to BNM, so that BNM can take action again them.

Can you list the branches which have a minimum amount?
All the Guardians I visited (Around PJ area) have no minimum amount as I pay RM 1 for either water or Candy using Samsung Pay with no hassle.

I think pumping petrol with debit card is such a hassle. The station took forever to update. Each time hedge RM 200 or more, leaving not much room for other swipes.
