VGN-FE45G/W user here. Just wanna ask whoever got the audio driver (SigmaTel C-Major Audio) driver for WINDOWS XP. I got this machine with preloaded Vista Home Premium and i've done this dual booting operation since Vista really consume high resource. So, i opt to install XP Pro, sadly no audio driver available. I've google -ed it like "24/7" yet, can't solve.

Talking bout new models in asia and other continents, is it possible to get a vaio through the other continent's website? Cause malaysia's one does not offer the customization option and US one does.

Hi misbehave,
If budget is not an issue, then the Vaio C25 (or any other Vaio) is probably the coolest looking laptop on the market now. Your applications should be handled by it, no problem. |

hmm...weird thing happening to my Vaio.
i can't detect any new wifi connections, even though the network icon on my taskbar says that "wireless networks are available". when i click that, the "connect to a network" window appears, but it says "Windows cannot find any network". I can still manage to connect to my previous wifi connections that i have saved up and set to automatcially connect when they r available...but i can't detect/add new ones. i'm afraid some of the Vista updates from Microsoft have screwed up my wireless. |
