VGN-FE45G/W user here. Just wanna ask whoever got the audio driver (SigmaTel C-Major Audio) driver for WINDOWS XP. I got this machine with preloaded Vista Home Premium and i've done this dual booting operation since Vista really consume high resource. So, i opt to install XP Pro, sadly no audio driver available. I've google -ed it like "24/7" yet, can't solve.

QUOTE(dynamitee @ Mar 26 2008, 10:05 PM) well, i've heard many said that sony notebooks are not stable, coz their profession is not mainly on laptops..n about their battery heating problems..n well, my friend's friend bought it n after using two months, it had to be sent back for repair for two months.. given me the crappiest laptop brand in the world that u can name, i still can use without any "unstable" or any other related issues.i'm a college student, will mostly use designing programs n i really can't afford this to happen..but i love the design and the clear screen..n bsides, i still don't get it y sony notebooks aren't stable.. believe it, sometimes is just the person on his/her knowledge in computing stuff that really matters. computer brand just promote a small factor to it. since u're a college student, just aim for budget instead of brand. and looks like u're into designs and stuff, why don't you opt for Macbook? or Macbook Pro? edited:type mistakes This post has been edited by sukun: Mar 26 2008, 10:16 PM |

QUOTE(hangy2k @ Mar 26 2008, 10:27 PM) yeah. many. many "unnecessary" softwares lo.mac is the best IMO. with all those AIO packages. you just dont need to look any further. and i think nowadays everyone should know u can run Windows in Mac Intel machine. so, what can i say more? mac simply the best although i'm a windows user, given me the money, directly RIGHT NOW i would hit MBP with multi-touch trackpad! |

QUOTE(malayneum @ Jun 8 2008, 09:06 PM) can you play crysis smoothly on fz35 ? you can play smoothly BUT not the greatest graphic settings. if u just want to play the story go ahead. but if u want to play the purest pursuit, please dont play it on laptop. also, i read many positive feedback on fz series. just now i went to best denki klcc got fz35 selling for rm4988 with free 2gb ram. add rm198 for 1+4 warranty. QUOTE(clngu @ Jun 8 2008, 11:38 PM) if you want to play crysis smoothly, you need to invest at least 20k on the desktop using latest technology totally. friends 8k desktop play with highest settings. those gun scope reflection, shadows, lights, grass and everything, jaw dropping! |
