Just browse tru the net for the knee/elbow guard. Pity those ppl who post those question on the bike forum and found themselv being flame by other user for being "wuss" or "scared to death". Its a pity that I got into shit accident before the whole thing even started. Oh well, even if it doesnt happen now it may happend in the future and i seriously feel lucky to get out unhurt. Btw, if downhill riding down, which brake should i use? front or rear brake?

Not really sure in KL area cause i more focus on my serach on Aussie/NZ area cause that where I am based when i finish my cuti cuti malaysia. After my crash, i felt like wearing a knee/elbow pad and bomber shorts will save a layer of my skin to the road cause that where my injuries lies Perhaps try the MTB subforum for help? I never being there at all This post has been edited by minizian: Feb 18 2012, 12:01 AM

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Feb 16 2012, 05:14 PM) yes, 300 limit hit after 1 day open for registration. I'm one of the lucky 1. btw, is HK cycling stuffs are cheaper? like small item blinking LED lights... water bottle... maybe next time, we can go for Ipoh 1 in July... just a token of website http://www.hkbicycle.com/index.php?lang=chin&pg=new Added on February 18, 2012, 2:23 amQUOTE(minizian @ Feb 16 2012, 11:18 PM) Butthead, i guess crashing is part and parcel of the life as a pro cyclist. I got good lecture from my parent about not to ride the bike anymore. I was like "wat the heck" lor. Perhaps i need time to heal myself and start over from step 1. But i dunno where to start again? Wanna practice my clipless pedal and repiar my bike first maybe get myself a 2nd bike for practice/sparebike My first fall was when my front wheel roll into a drainage cover. Just lie on the ground. Luckily for me no car behind to run me over... This post has been edited by henleong: Feb 18 2012, 02:23 AM

Wondered what is the brand sold here? cap ayam? yes... cap ayam dan itik... there is mainly 2 types of tubes.. butyl and latex butyl also has normal and the lighter flyweights which are more expensive.. then comes latex tubes...latex are generally known for being a lightweight tube.. on top of it, you get a smoother ride as latex is more flexible than butyl... some claim lower rolling resistance, that i am not sure about.. problem with latex is that it is expensive and also not very durable as it is very thin... not condom thin... but still thinner than the usual butyl variants...

how many of you here always ride around Putrajaya area? are there many cyclists around? say on weekend morning..i plan to do my base mile training there since the road is quite flat I think..
added question: the free wheeling sound of my rear wheel was quite low previously until yesterday when I changed the rear tube myself then the free wheeling sound is a whole lot more buzzier than before. anything that i've done wrong in putting up my rear wheel? what's the cause? thx
