i heard people say, they did the story, wolverine vs cyclops in xmen just before xavier died... im not really sure which issue. but correct me if im wrong.

actually, no they didn't. marvel did not run the story of that 'famous' battle between weapon x and cyclops, although a glimpse could be seen in the x-men chronicles (or was it? hmm, don't remember). i'm very sure the scene was drawn in at least one panel in the various issues in x-men AoA, but i need to do a revision on that.

in fact, marvel said they will not explain in detail on this battle and will not publish any stories either. so i guess that's the end of it as far as we know...

Thanks for the comment. Been collecting comics for half my lifetime. I think you can get those rack from suppliers who make storage racks. Shop around first. Remember to take measurements. Some come ready made. i prefer those with butterfly clip without nuts and bolts so you don't have to tighten them regularly.
Lastly, please make sure that each level able to hold at least 150kgs. Not light when the comic boxes are packed. that is why wood may topple or bend.

Added on March 20, 2008, 1:43 amNo really keep track. I estimate to be around 10 to 11k for single issues. Seldom buy HC or TPBK. Don't know why. Every issue bagged and boarded. I also like to collect variants. So for issues like civil war which I collect I will also have every covers for all the seven issues. Variants, sketch and sometimes those aspen variants included. Quite hardcore sometimes.
I still remember last time don't have this type of thing. It's either bar-coded or non bar-coded. Now all those 1 in 25, 50, 75, 100, 500 and 1000. And retailer special.
Maybe milking all of us dry. Last time the compilation will take forever to release. Nowadays it will come out after major story arc. Spoil the market sometimes.

The whole rack is made of hi grade aluminium i think. Even the rack base and each rack layer. Please make sure the legs have rubber pads to support all the weight. It's not the whole rack combine 150kgs but each rack layer can hold 150kgs. If you carry a full short box you will know how heavy it is. Imagine if need to support 4 boxes. If use wood type, over time the wood will deform, bend and break.

That is because individual issue costs up to US$ 2-99.

Imagine if you started in early Image days.. It is RM 2-80 only for Uncanny X-Men # 274.

MidValley sells it around rm11.10

HC and TPB at Kino for me. The 20% discount is very attractive to me.
