Hi guys, am pretty new here..and only registered after noticing this topic..
I'm still buying comics...but only X-men related titles..it's not as good as it was in the 90s but recently there's a new event in the X-men universe.."The Messiah Complex",which is excellent..

I'm currently collecting :

Uncanny X-men
X-men
New X-men
and Exiles...

oh and i notice eric wrote bout comics mart@midvalley..i bought all my comics there...since last year..kinda realiable..definately better than that comic shop at Bangsar Shopping Center..just FYI

I wanted to collect X-Factor too but as above..no budget.

Eric...I love Psylocke too!..i only started collecting x-men as I heard she was resurrected...and move on to Exiles, as she's in that tittle now.

yeah i enjoy this guys here...really hardcore..at least someone knows what I'm talking bout..all my friends don't have a clue

anyhoo, the issue u mentioned I have most of em except the X-men 2 series..but they are not in the greatest condition...that time after reading i just put it aside anywhere.wasn't very carefull b4 this

madstone : yup that's what i heard...but like the original xmen title she transfered herself to an asian chic, at least the transfer is not as confusing in the original series

Guess what, beast is still alive, from what I heard..I don't collect Ult X-men due to funding issues however I do keep track of what's happening..
Do you have any pics of Ult Psylocke? cause I can't find it anywhere in the net..even wikipedia..

I'm currently collecting Messiah Complex, still waiting for the last 3 issues, it's a great one..highly recommended...as for Endangered Species...please avoid it..it was seriously a waste of money

BTW just FYI there are rumours that Uncanny X-men will be canceled around issue#500 , after the messiah complex Event

So can i suggest, if u want...try new X-men (which will actually end this month..but will continue in Young X-men)...the new X-kids are pretty cool..reminded me a lot of the New Mutant days

after messiah complex, supposedly they are going to cancel Uncanny X-men@ issue 500
X-men 2nd series will be change to X-men Legacy
New X-Men will be continued in April with Young X-men(this comic is for the younger xmen)
i'm not sure bout astonishing though, cause i don't collect that

all of this have been confirmed, maybe except the cancelation of uncanny xmen..

Oh! I love buffy!...I tried to collect the S8 comics..however, it's really hard to find it...at least for me.

oh i can match a similar story Apek,
my mom got mad with me, can't recall why..she tore one of my fav comic, dont remember the issue but it was the conclusion for Psylocke's transformation...sigh..

Messiah Complex was awesome!..i would recommend u to buy the monthly issues but I guess everything is sold out...i'm still missing chapter #11..and i don't think i'll find it..big bummer there

MCtea13, dude...ur collection and condition..woah much?..my collection back in the 90s are mostly..destroyed..serves me right for just stacking it up in the attic...and it's good to hear that there are single issue collector still...i, like u collect the single monthly issue..

btw..to all..i guess Comics Mart @ midval is starting to get up on its feet again..apparently everything went to hell after the regular front desk lady quit.it seems ok now since i'm getting my monthly comics again ..so if intrested..drop by there..
