It was a less than 2km drive from the pickup place to the place that guy wanna stop by, didnt collect any $$$. Grab just said they left a remark on the guys account
*
So what can you do? they only left a remark, this riders would do the same thing over and over again. most drivers will not compliant .. and grab couldn't be bother. remember to screen shot because in a court of law this are evidence to proof your case. Sorry to say grab always side with the riders.

read another thread earlier and someone says uber don't suspend but only lower your rating. Grab will suspend any drivers with any simple complaints from the riders. Do remember it is not merely the riders fault it is always grab fault.

Of course uber and grab will side to the riders, duh, riders are the one paying for the service.

You guys are starting to sound like taxi drivers now. Don't like short trips la, waste time and petrol la, etc.

is good to have some FAN Boys of Grab and Uber around in this forum. at least we know how they think.

It's just common sense, drivers are not the one paying for grab/uber operating cost, of course they won't side with the drivers, duh.

Just like any other company, or any other business, customers are always right and employees are replaceable. Don't like it? Get another job then.

Taxi driver mentality, sheesh.

it take 2 hand to clap, and some riders are too idiot to understand what the concept of ride sharing versus taxi (including the Uber and Grab staff), and too cheap/ poor to request for UberBlack or premium ride or even hire personal drivers biggrin.gif

indeed, it is good eyeopener to realize many cheapskates out there are having lack of mutual respect courtesy, be it rich or well educated wink.gif

its like flying low cost airline but expecting business class treatment, make sense? biggrin.gif

Was Uber rider yesterday at Mid Valley

4:20PM : Book ride from north court to home.
Made sure location of pickup is Toast Box & waited exactly there...
Assigned a driver by app saying 10min away at OKR despite
app show many driver nearby...
4:30PM : check app, car still at OKR not moving.
4:50PM : Driver never showed up, called him 5x he end call deliberately.
4:55PM : I Cancelled the trip & was slapped with RM5 fine for next ride.
4:55PM : Booked another ride from north court to home.
Assigned a driver by app saying 10min away at Bangsar despite
app show many driver nearby...
5:10PM : Saw his car passing on main road but did not stop.
Suddenly app gave me RM1 receipt. Tried to call driver to ask but contact disappear.
5:20PM : Still at Mid Valley after 1 hour trying to go home 15min away.
Time already peak hour & will take longer to reach home...haih

How do i spot such irresponsible drivers?
I don't dare to use Uber anymore becoz of this... 2 drivers FFK same day...haih

Guys, as a rider I am banned. I wrote in to support to find out why, they are trained not to share ban reason. I had to appeal, to which I did. No response after 1 week.

I am guessing the ban was due to my 3 cancellations in 3 days.

1 - Driver doesn't know my pick up location and GPS is broken. I cancelled and didn't complain.

2 - Driver car broke down. I had to cancel and wrote in to find out the whether he's lying or telling the truth.

3 - My pickup point is far, driver requested me to cancel. I did snd wrote in.

Few hours later, bam! Banned.

Anyone knows how to deal with this? Rather than register a new account with new number, I would love to keep my current account.

you mean rating? His rating was 4.7.
Kept all the screen capture of his phone number, car, plate, photo, etc.
Tried calling him to find out what really happen but he end my call after few rings, not once but 5x!
Send him a message but never bothered to respond...
Tempted to reveal his details so that anyone assigned this driver may cancel immediately & not waste time waiting...

If you got all the details, just report to Uber straight.

if all driver started to have taxi driver-minded (such as picky on trips and cancel) Uber and Grab need to really control this and only pick driver who are proven responsible. if not, rosak susu sebelanga..
