Hm... did u using the Compound to polish ur windshield before apply ultra glaco?

It's better to leave it more long if u are doing at night time , and please get a better micro fiber towel , because wiping glass with normal towel won't work

Finally done it !! So tired , first time detail car until 1am , the Soft99 Fusso really eat up my time , it just like take twice of my time compared to Meg ultimate liquiq wax


This is what i prepared




so prepare two bucket , microfiber mitt Meguairs for top wash , cheapo giant microfiber mitt for lower part , sponge for wash rim and tyre , ready clay bar , spray bottle and can clay after wash





So why do we need clay? see after i give a good wash , there sure have some dirt that can't be wash off on surface , that why we need to clay Can see it?





Start clay with shampoo and can see so many dirt stuck on the clay even after a clean wash




And the dirt has gone




So what i have done today , Clay , Compound all window , Soft99 Fusso Coat whole body paint part , Meg Ultimate Liquiq Wax for chrome and lamp part, Soft 99 Side Mirror Coat and Ultra Glaco all window , tomorrow only do the wheel dust block , it's too late already

About the interior, wait after i get install tint and carpet only do

Tats typical of franchise workers.. I guess they only want results and replacing is the easiest cure..

Its a spot in between the tint and glass like a small air bubble but blue in color and without air inside. I shared here before i think in V2.

Ecotint said its maybe caused by the gel use use to fix the tint. Anyway that was in September. No problems until now.

What is Raytech Premier 6? Cant find on their website.

I am not sure but most likely I don't think so. Its probably just like how accessories shops fix it. Anyway, its covered under Honda so they will cover any issues should it happened.

It's actually Ecotint. Product name is Raytech/Raybarrier.

Huh? Earlier u said its Raytech Premier 6 but now its Ecotint? Raytech and Ecotint are 2 different companies right?

So what is your exact tint name and model?

Mine is 1.5T leather. But i believe this is a defect for all new Civic-X because the ring, where the cover clipped on, is a bit smaller and therefore the cover can't properly clip on to it

The Honda service centre asked me to make a defect report with Honda (M) and I did that last year. But seem like this still happening to new cars.. so I guess Honda (M) not give a damn about this defect

Meaning I need to download the latest APK mirror?

Yeah, I normally update it from APK Mirror - install the latest version directly.

Try la update it. Who knows it might solve your issue :-)

seems like no difference as they said the update will not need to touch screen for voice music play control

same happen for me. I uninstall the android auto and reinstall using the latest apk downloaded from internet and my issue resolved.

I see..

So everytime theres an update, we need to uninstall and reinstall latest apk.. So hassle..


Update: I can launch the Android Auto after uninstall and install latest version

Apparently the Ray Barrier Premier 6 is exclusive to Honda and is not in Ecotint Website. Specs are quite similar to Ray Barrier Pre-Eminent & Protection which is in Ecotint website.

By the way, i am no expert on this. But as a user I can say it definitely feels better than my friends 3M.
