Someone recommended using this website https://www.tookar.my/ never had any experience using them though. Do let us know your experience if you do use it!

I saw someone bought a civic from Tookar testimonial, is it new civic in the picture or the facelift version?
*
It's Civic FC 2016. Not Civic FB facelift if that's what you mean - somehow also looks like they changed the front grille to the RS version.

Hey guys. I hear harsh (grinding) sound during cold start. Once warmed up is sounds ok. Is that normal? (Need to keep door open to hear)
*
Just found about about this new information, will update the first page:

http://www.civicx.com/threads/strange-soun...-59#post-121942

Reproduced in full:
QUOTE
Hey guys I've got some good news for you all. First of all, I'm from Thailand and i own Civic 1.5 Turbo Thailand model (EX-T equivalent) for over 7 months. My car have been having grinding at start up since the very first day and I was very frustrated by it. Last week, Thailand Honda called me to notify that Honda R&D team in Japan have found the root cause for the grinding which is a faulty solenoid in the Automatic Transmission (the new Earthdream CVT). So they offered me a complete replacement in the Automatic Transmission (Yes, the WHOLE Transmission module). After the replacement, guess what guys... the grinding noise was GONE! For the past few days, I've been recording everytime my car starts up and the noise was nowhere to be heard. So just stay tuned guys, Honda might give a recall for some module replacement very soon.

EDITTED: Whoops, my mistake. They replaced the Automatic Transmission module not the powertrain.
For those who want to look up the part i've got replaced, it's labeled 20031-5CK-010 (can be found online)

QUOTE

After replacing it, 100% no more startup noise. So there you go!

so far no action from HM right?
*
Well... to be fair to HM, the guy posted on Sunday (Monday in Malaysia) on this info and had only replaced it a week earlier. So let's just bug Honda Malaysia with this new information - probably there will be a recall to replace those solenoids anyway since it's a prevalent issue on all TC engines.

I also wonder, it is sprint highway but on the way towards jln samantan there is no need to pay toll unless the return way back to one Utama. Possible to claim from them? i didn't take pic as it is dangerous to stop the car and there are many cars on the road, and those impacted car in front of me didn't stop as well.
*
Bro, if inside highway, you can claim from them. Go to the nearest tollbooth from where you kena the signboard. Lofge a complaint there.

No need to kacau ur NCB. The highway operator will reimburse you.

i file complain to Honda Malaysia.  i just noticed my oil life from B changed to A after my 10k mileage service. Do we required to change engine oil during 10k mileage services? as per my understand, no need rite ?
*
Every 10K KM. But if you changed earlier e.g changed oil at 7500km and went for service at 10K km - oil life still stated 7500km left, no need to change oil...

Anyway, didn't you check the service order slip before signing it? They wouldn't do anything other than those specified in the service order slip...

be4 i signed i told them d, i just want to do mileage services not oil life services. They told me is a different thing. so i just signed. haih, the service advisory didnt know anything.  im wording any impact on my car ?
*
Kejap... Do you mean they reset your oil life, but didn't replace your engine oil? If that's the case, it's really f*cked up! Complain kaw kaw to the service manager!

I thought they replaced the engine oil even though you specifically didn't ask them to.

They replace my engine oil from B back to A. But i still left engine oil around 6k plus. After collect car, go back to Type A 9900km. is that normal ? because i call up and ask them they said is normal.
*
Check your service sheet. Did they change your engine oil. If not sure, just post it here - block out your personal details. If they change your engine oil, it should be ok. Just higher cost to you. But if they reset the oil counter without changing your oil, that's another matter altogether.

Sorry i don know how to rotate. Just now i went back SC for clarify. After argue with them, they end up reset my engine oil from A to B again to satisfy me. i pissed off with it thn i just walk off..vmad.gif  vmad.gif

And the Service advisory said our meter shouldn't show A or B after services. A or B show when is something wrong with our engine oil.
*
Errrr... no. It should always show either A or B. You should follow the oil life remaining to know when you should change your oil. Look at the FAQ on the first page. Even brand new cars with 10K km oil life left will show A.

Judging by your picture, they did the B oil service as you are also changing the oil filter

Guys. Saw this post in the Civic X Facebook group. Can't embed the video or link it here though... Any of you face this issue? First time seeing this. Everytime the poster turns his stering wheel to the left or right, the HU will blink, aircond will restart and the power steering will become heavy. Seems like and electrical / cable issue. Might be a lemon unit coz never heard/read of this issue anywhere else.

Somebody commented that "a lot of civic kena", and the solution is to restart the HU... Any comments?

Got good news for people waiting for Waze to appear in Android Auto. Wait is almost over. Should get it in January 2017 or March 2017 at the very latest. Wonder what took them so long... I REALLY hope that Waze will also be supported on CarPlay too.

That just means you encounter quite a few heavy traffic jam in your daily drive bro. Try going on highways with little to no traffic jams and keep your revs low. I'm sure you'll see the numbers go up.

now if we choose running plate number only need to pay rm210 right? do we have to pay runner fee to SA? as i know all can be done online now, no need wait at JPJ. cant wait to get mine, just finish phone iv with maybank,pb yesterday.
*
Actually if just choose running number, no need to pay a cent more coz all included in the car price. You should only pay RM210 + runner fees if you have a specific number that you want.

May I know what is the interest rate you're getting?

Alamak, just checked my car headlight , seems there is some moisture in the bottom on the headlight.  shocking.gif
[attachmentid=8146983]
*
Moisture is sometimes normal if your car is brand new. Let your car dry for a few days, if it still happens during rain, go back to your SC and request to fix the sealing / change the headlights. Take pictures of course as sometimes the moisture will be gone after a few hours.

Full Body wrap is legal in Malaysia. Just need to go JPJ to inform them of the change in wrap colour compared to your original base colour.
