Finally done it !! So tired , first time detail car until 1am , the Soft99 Fusso really eat up my time , it just like take twice of my time compared to Meg ultimate liquiq wax  bangwall.gif
This is what i prepared  biggrin.gif

[attachmentid=8520674]
so prepare two bucket , microfiber mitt Meguairs for top wash , cheapo giant microfiber mitt for lower part , sponge for wash rim and tyre , ready clay bar , spray bottle and can clay after wash

[attachmentid=8520685]
So why do we need clay? see after i give a good wash , there sure have some dirt that can't be wash off on surface , that why we need to clay  biggrin.gif Can see it?

[attachmentid=8520687]
[attachmentid=8520689]
Start clay with shampoo and can see so many dirt stuck on the clay even after a clean wash

[attachmentid=8520690]
[attachmentid=8520691]

And the dirt has gone  icon_rolleyes.gif

[attachmentid=8520696]
So what i have done today , Clay , Compound all window , Soft99 Fusso Coat whole body paint part , Meg Ultimate Liquiq Wax for chrome and lamp part, Soft 99 Side Mirror Coat and Ultra Glaco all window , tomorrow only do the wheel dust block , it's too late already  bruce.gif

About the interior, wait after i get install tint and carpet only do

Very rajin. Does Fusso Coat coat the black plastic parts well or you did not apply to those parts as most waxes will cause white overun marks on black rough plastic bits? Normally, from a glance you can tell cars that have been SiO2 coated by just looking at the black plastic bits. The SiO2 coated ones are really black!

do you have any clear picture of the said ring?
*
Sorry, I dare not to open the cover to take a photo to show you the ring. Afraid it will not clip back again.

The ring I'm referring to is a steel bar that's is screwed to the seat. The plastic cover of the power adjuster then clip to it. cool2.gif

Unfortunately..

Lighter colours dont really photograph well..

Why do u say Soft 99 fusso takes longer??
*
Because it is he paste wax that u cant let stay longer, u apply at 1 panel, then wait 5-10 min have to wipe off, and it really not easy to buff off seriously, if u let it dry more time, it even hard to buff , while using meg liquiq wax, i can just apply to whole car, and just buff off so easily, the liquiq wax can stay no matter how long also easy to buff

I really hope soft 99 can last longer, its not fun to reapply every 3 month , end up i will used back liquiq wax if the soft99 fusso not long lasting

But in term of licin, fusso soft99 win hand down

U cant apply fusso on chrome or black, only use for paint body, i apply meg liquiq wax to all door handle, chrome and black part, i would say meg is more safety to use and wont cause white stain while fusso u need to direct wipe off and don let it stick on plastic/chrome part

So here the result, fusso isnt really to make ur car very shining compare to wax , but it really bead water very very nicely, i think next time i really save alot of time to wash car , tire haven done yet, feel so tired , maybe rest a day tmr only do it

And what the hell is that panel so easy get scratch? How is your guys one?

The Honda service centre asked me to make a defect report with Honda (M) and I did that last year. But seem like this still happening to new cars.. so I guess Honda (M) not give a damn about this defect ranting.gif

Changes in production line doesn't happen fast, as we hope to. Every single little change means rewriting working procedures and also at least another cycle of evaluation and testing. So manufacturers will prioritise those complaints that are critical and prevalent. Small issues could be put aside and consolidate all the updates during the facelift.

This is in Honda website:

https://www.honda.com.my/corporate/press_re...lers-Nationwide
Scroll below for specs.

Apparently the Ray Barrier Premier 6 is exclusive to Honda and is not in Ecotint Website. Specs are quite similar to Ray Barrier Pre-Eminent & Protection which is in Ecotint website.

By the way, i am no expert on this. But as a user I can say it definitely feels better than my friends 3M.
Can't see the actual specs. Is it on the website that u provided?

And saying its better than 3M is too general. 3M is the brand name which has about 15 different types of tint with varying specs.

Some car accessories shops are selling about rm80 plus installation. Better check beforehand whether installing the cable void warranty not ...

You need to scroll down on that Honda page as i have mentioned. Need to do a bit of work la friend smile.gif Anyway i copied and attached here.

My Civic TC is September and my friends 1.8 is October. Both Modern Steel. I did my Ecotint with Honda Melaka and he did 3M in his friends accessory shop in KL at almost same price. We swap cars for a few days. I felt the difference when parked under hot sun and my friends agrees too. As for specs and other stuff, i am afraid you need to do your homework Bro. I am merely sharing my experience, it is suppose to be general. Cheers![attachmentid=8522563]

I am not sure if he is using Crystaline hmm.gif . I know he paid around RM2.8k just like me so I am assuming that his money should be able to buy him a better product from the outside compared to me buying directly from Honda as everything is normally more expensive from Honda dry.gif
