Some tips for HLB Pay & Save, FPX transactions are also counted as E-payment. Can use it to top up ASNB funds or purchase UT online for e.g. So, no need to pay for the IBG fees. smile.gif

If one have RM10k only, OCBC can give 2.9% vs 1.9% by HLB. After all, one can theoretically pay RM0.01 of bill via OCBC (no mention of min amount)

Actually, for HLB Pay & Save, it's 2.2% (1.9% + 0.3%) for more than 5k. It's still less than OCBC 360 though.

just saw the campaign rate after click GIA > add placement.

one thing i hate about GIA is they never mention the rate the give you in the summary page. How do u even know they will give u that rate in the end, no proof, nothing at all.

3.55% for 60 months placement. Min RM10k though.
If less than RM10k, select 12 mths @ 3.25%.

eFD pays at the end of your placement period - no monthly interest payment.
This eFD promo rate for 12 months is also higher than 3.45% for GIA.

I chose to place the eFD promo because eGIA rates keep getting lower.

Actually most of us put in GIA-i due to its flexibility, not so much on the interest. At least for me, it is.

GIA pays monthly interest right? if only half month do they pay interest by daily calculation?

Actually there is. There's something by Maybank. Min RM50k. But cannot see it anymore as Gen-X remove his blog.

Read back a few pages, since Maybank changed their early uplift rule for GIA, there is still a cooling off period with flexible uplift date with 3.55% interest as long as 60 months placement and min RM10k until 01 August 2017.

Am I right?

3.55% only if the fund placed and kept for 60 months, if uplift earlier will only get lower rate as per table?
