They finally cancelled my credit card...Is there ever a good time to delete the banking app?

Delete and never look back. Unless they have attractive sign up promo but I doubt so. Even Ringgitplus and Comparehero doesnt give any benefit to sign up SC cards anymore. I think they better close shop and leave Malaysia for good.

where to find the best Cc to signup these days.

Their cards are literally too rich for my blood LOL, so probably not lah. I'm sure they're glad to be rid of me too : p

Was wondering if I would have to deactivate the online banking first, or what...

I think you will receive one final statement after the cancellation. I deactivated and deleted my app before that so I couldn't get back in to their website to get it. Oh well.

Finally i cancel my CC.
yesterday on apps, select cancel CC, then received msg about in process
today received msg. said been cancel.

Seem im not important customer, no call or mail offer me anythings.

same lol, requested cancel last friday then monday they fulfilled the request without any confirmation through call or sms

How you deactivate?

I think SCB's retention will happen later, not so fast. Just wait another week, they may call.

In the SC app, there's a way to deactivate the SC Mobile Key. Can't remember what the menu item is exactly.

My LFC was charged SST in endof April, AF will be endof May same as Simply cash cc.
In early May requested cancellation thru OTHER REQUEST in app for both LFC n Simplycash siting AF & SST.
By mid May no action taken, so I called LOSTCARD line to find out, CS will help me to cancel both cards n rebate the LFC SST.
Just check both the accounts got deleted in app. No retention call.
So now left ONLY with the new BASIC MC, so that I can keep the credit line.

i lock with SC CC IPP , 60 months.

but really hard to get AF waive.
can we Balance transfer IPP to another CC?

See if can transfer IPP to another SCB CC without AF.

I actually applied for SCB BASIC Mastercard(no AF) in case I need to use their IPP for solar panels.
