I think a good accessory shop will have this mirror. It is shared by some proton cars

Hi there.. planning to buy used suprima S.. any advise or things i should take into account? any particular year make that have bad condition or bad review? Suprima s for year 2013 version and 2017 version have any diff? sumbody offer me showroom unit but year make 2013..

No warranty don't buy. The gearbox is an example of a high risk part in this car and other proton models with a turbo. So far there are no noticeable differences between the previous years Suprima S and current ones beside tint brand/performance.

hi guys, I've a kinda noob question about the car remote.

When I press the car remote open door button "once", only the DRIVER DOOR be able to open, and the rest of 3 doors are locked UNLESS I press the open door button "twice"?

Is it normal or my car remote already has problem?

(90% I drive the car alone without fetching anyone... thus I dunno what's going on with my remote control lol.)

It's a safety feature. Check your owners manual if you want to make it open all with one press. It should be pressing lock and unlock together, but I forgot with the car locked or unlocked.

Just to share found out that my SS one of rear absorber kong leaking oil. Also found that the bump stop rubber on both rear absorber koyak also. Cannot see the bump stop koyak had to remove the absorber only can see. Replacing all of cost me RM106 for absorber and bump stop rubber RM55 for 2 units and as usual service around RM60.

Unfortunately I missed cry.gif the warranty coverage by a month for the absorber which is 3 years. Bump stop rubber no warranty. If you hear the ketuk2 sound at the rear than most probably the absorber kong. It happened when everytime I drive over the road bumps. What can we do too many road bumps here and there bruce.gif kill the absorber lifespan.

3 years is a good lifespan for absorbers..
Do u expect it to last 5 years?

Suprima.is a heavy car..
106 for the rear absorbers is ok for the car size.. wait till u replace the fronts.. they are about 180+ each..

If only it get kong within 3 years at least can claim warranty. The absorbers lifespan is very subjective depending on the road condition u r driving. In my case KL road is very good except too many road bumps.

SS owners have to standby pocket koyak to replace absorbers anytime soon. Mine roughly 3 yrs for the rear side.

Not exactly poket koyak..
The price is on par for the cars segment..
There is also kayaba which is about 150/pcs for fronts and 80+/pcs for the rears..

Even the old persona, which is a c segment car, the shocks are about the same price..
