According to my member, yes the sensor no longer functioning. Probably can install another standalone reverse sensor module?

The sensors are canbus/Lin @ digital sensors if I'm not mistaken. You won't get them to work with another reverse parking module if this is the case.

I was just wondering if you could install a third party unit

Definitely. Are you willing to drill new holes though?

If on the dash, put merc system, then yes. Reuse sensor holes.

I don't think it's easy to find sensors as huge as the originals. Perhaps getting a front camera will be a much better option? Buy something that's good and it should make you very happy.

Hi guys, one side of my car front light already spoiled (the "hight beam" still working though). Car is already 2 years old, it still under warranty to be cover?

If not, how much proton sc charge for this? Or I just send it to be exchange after market?

Just pay RM22 to RM30 for a new H7 Bulb, then either replace yourself if you want to save on workmanship, or bring to an accessory shop and get them to do it. It's an extremely easy job. Keep the bulb free of contaminants though. I usually use IPA on every bulb I touch and replace, and so far I haven't had any premature failures.

I'm going to service the car, shd I just ask them to change for me? I've read the manual and watch through few videos in youtube.

I think that I've got the idea how to change it, but the way to change light bulb for suprima high and low beam is a bit different?

High beam is very easy. Low beam isn't too easy due to the space constraint.

Get the service centre to replace for you since you're going for a service.

https://www.facebook.com/pg/racechipchiptun...703578096324115

it seems too good to be true...

I'm just looking for some upgrades for the car, or perhaps anyone have recommended upgrades?

by the way, for tires thinking to get primacy ST for quieter ride but I guess 22k km not yet time to change tyre. Should I get same as stock size? Someone recommended to go for or 225/55/R17...

Not sure about RaceChip, but MBO by EA Autowork does wonders. smile.gif It's going to be more expensive after July 15th, so get it done soon.

I'm on PS4 215/45R17, so I can't help much. What's the reason for going for wider tyres? If it's comfort, then look for a higher profile tyre only, e.g. 215/50R17.

Does anyone know aside from engine and gearbox, what else is covered under the 5 year warranty? I think I want to start servicing my car at third party mechanic.

Dont. Stay at 215/45 unless u are going to harder spring setup..
225/45 rubs if there is big undulation.. 215/50 rubs even worse i think..

thanks for the advise! I will make sure to get 215/45R17.
Actually I want more comfort as I feel that currently my tire sound is quite loud...

By the way what is PS4 and how much is it?

I do a quick check and Primacy ST price is still acceptable. Sorry i'm no expert in tyre...
how much mileage usually need to change tyre?

Yeah.. im on 225/45 and at some crest if im doing over 80, it rubs..
Price depends on ur location..

I changed the achilles after 60k and the Michelins after 60+k also.. the Primacy 3ST is wonderful for noise reduction..
