Yeah.. im on 225/45 and at some crest if im doing over 80, it rubs..
Price depends on ur location..

I changed the achilles after 60k and the Michelins after 60+k also.. the Primacy 3ST is wonderful for noise reduction..

I see... then mine is still long way to go : )
My current tires are 2233 Sports A1... hmm...

thanks for the advise! I will make sure to get 215/45R17.
Actually I want more comfort as I feel that currently my tire sound is quite loud...

By the way what is PS4 and how much is it?

I do a quick check and Primacy ST price is still acceptable. Sorry i'm no expert in tyre...
how much mileage usually need to change tyre?
*
PS4 is from Michelin. Price is from RM400 ~ RM450 with or without GST. I believe Kings of Rim at Shah Alam is offering these tyres at a very good price, so maybe you can pay them a visit.

Depends on the wear level of your tyres, as well as age. If your tyres are old and cracking (3 ~ 5 years from production date), change them even though their mileage is low. Tyres typically last for 30,000KM to 60,000KM. Depending on your car's alignment and driving style, your tyres may last longer or shorter.

Does anyone know aside from engine and gearbox, what else is covered under the 5 year warranty? I think I want to start servicing my car at third party mechanic.

Im not sure, they already started charging me for the engine mounting. Their reason is that after 100k proton does cover that part. sad.gif

Dont. Stay at 215/45 unless u are going to harder spring setup..
225/45 rubs if there is big undulation.. 215/50 rubs even worse i think..

Under certain conditions.. yes..

There is quite a big hump going on certain flyovers and its at an angle..
So hump+steering angle+speed=rubs..

Renewed my insurance recently with Tokio Marine. The agreed value is RM55,000 for a 2015 March manufactured Suprima S Premium. If you sell to a used car dealer, you'll probably get around 40 to 45. Try to sell direct. Join the Prosmac group on Facebook and advertise there.

Not sure about RaceChip, but MBO by EA Autowork does wonders. smile.gif It's going to be more expensive after July 15th, so get it done soon.

I'm on PS4 215/45R17, so I can't help much. What's the reason for going for wider tyres? If it's comfort, then look for a higher profile tyre only, e.g. 215/50R17.
*
what is MBO? Can be diy or need to send the car for installation?

Thanks for explaining that both PS4 and Primacy 3 ST is from Michelin.
I guess I will go for P3ST as i'm looking for more comfort (also it's cheaper).

Anyone here used PS3T and PS4?
I'm also considering Continental UC6 or MC5 which are cheaper around 300+... gonna choose tires wisely because will be using the tires for 2-3 years, haha

Have a nice weekend!

You did the tuning? How much is the cost and the performance is noticeable?

Beside tuning and tires, I think i'll have to tint my front windscreen and both front passenger windows, kinda warm without tint... any recommendations for reasonable budget tint?

RM583 with GST. Very noticeable when you're pushing hard.

Try spending RM5xx on the Groovy Car Shades. They really help a lot. If you want to re-tint, prepare 1k to 2k if you want something better than the current one. Maybe double layer tinting will help, but you need to research about the side effects of double layer tinting if there are any.

dear sifus,

Just wondering did anyone tried this?
https://www.facebook.com/pg/racechipchiptun...703578096324115

it seems too good to be true...

I'm just looking for some upgrades for the car, or perhaps anyone have recommended upgrades?

*
I'm on racechip. Difference can be felt when accelerating when car is on the move. The pull is stronger and feeling of pushed back to your seat is also stronger.
If from stationary to starting to move, no difference under heavy throttle. You get the same CVT rubberband feel.

It does make the car more eager to move off the line on light throttle from stationary. More like normal auto gearbox feel.

No it doesn't save petrol for me.

I have yet to find time to dyno the car to know how much % power I got. I'll update once I find time to do it.

yes, OCH affects all CFE engines. Need to change the OCH about 30k kms to prevent failure.
Permanent solution for better hose I've not heard anything yet.

Nvr before heard of CVT overheating. There is a big enough CVT oil cooler to prevent that.
