Hey Guyz,
My Suprima S just turned 1 Year Old Yesterday...
It has been a great car for the pas 1 year and no complains...Super Fast and Reliable...
Just a few complains that every service I have to repeat and they maintain...

I seriously need some advise on this...

1. Passenger front door rattles when music volume is set to 15 and above sad.gif
2. Driver seat makes squeaky sound when someone is sitting on it...
3. Rear sensor most of the time keep making sound even where is no car/objects around...

Would be great if someone can assist me on this...
Quite tired already keep saying the same thing over and over again during service...May car milage is 20k plus...

Then just live with it, nowadays modern car ranging from proton, vw, Toyota, Honda, to BMW all having internal part rattling here and there. I suspect it is due to more quieter internal cabin, thus you able to hear more little tiny rattling noise

It's more of plastic rattling sound...I am trying to get rid of it as it's really annoying....
If sound proofing really helps then I might make a trip to those car shops behind sunway pyramid to get it done...

Possiby wiring knocking against the weather sheet/door panel. Definitely would help if you could separate parts with soft material like 3M thinsulate.

As for sensor, just ask for a replacement.

Multiple times already...
I am unable to replicate the issue each time i send the car for servicing...so it's like the go eh semua ok je... confused.gif

I complained of door rattling during my first or second visit and they replaced my driver side window regulator laugh.gif. Sadly the plastic rattle is still there. Luckily it isn't constant.

Edit: also can be eliminated by winding the window up/down for my passenger door. One day gonna open the panel up to add some soft material.

We are having the exact same issue...
I do that as well and the rattle goes off... rclxms.gif

Door rattle. Visit proton sc and ask them to check.

Write on a piece of paper :

- To check left and right door speaker rattle

Then gv it to the reception.

Done.

Every time i visit SC, i always done that. Write it on a piece of paper before go and then gv them.

For eg :

- To check engine and CVT mounting
- To check rear tyre chamber
- To check CVT jerking at low speed

Then after services, the receipt receive wrote :

- Replace engine and cvt mounting ( warranty )
- Done an aligment and balancing
- CVT adaption and throttle body clean

You can book at any time for inspection/warranty claims only. I do that a lot because I don't want to wait to complain during each service, which will cause parts replacement to take really long.

Awesome...
Thanks mate...
Has any1 tested the top speed Suprima can hit?

The most I tried was 220Kmph which was on a straight road towards on the highway to Kuantan cool2.gif

I've only reached around 180KM/H till date on NKVE, and that was for a short stretch when driving to COSE. Did you achieve 220Km/H while driving down a slight incline?
*
Nops on a straight stretch but with only one driver...
There are a certain tweaks that I have done to the car...so its not really really stock mega_shok.gif

Cannot use wifi while driving. Can only use when the handbrake is engaged

This is weird...I am still able to connect to Wi-Fi when my handbrake is not engaged but it only disconnects after i reach a speed of above 60kmph...
But nvrmind tried my luck here seems to be no one has figured it out...will play around with the player's root files and see where I can get into...
Thanks ya... rclxms.gif
