May i know anyone here changed your HU to aftermarket brand?

What aftermarket brand can support our front parking sensor ya?

none that i know off due to the design of the front and rear sensors included into the LCD display

i think once you change your ori HU to aftermarket punya, you can't use both front and rear sensors if im not mistaken.

done mine last year in december and yeah it's a recall for 2014 car at that time, same as exora.

sc has that kind of habit, making you come back to them tho they can finish the whole process altogether.

Finally bought the tools to remove the rear caliper pins and brake pads to lubricate them. Buying two wrenches would cost about RM12 but in the end I bought 8-24mm (14pcs) for RM24. I'm just short of 13mm and 15mm wrench. The 13mm is for the caliper pin screw and 12mm to loosen the handbrake cable so that you can open the caliper. 15mm is for the caliper pin itself just incase it rotate when you tighten the screw. There's a brake fluid hose and handbrake cable attached to the rear caliper. No need to remove the hose or cable just loosen the handbrake cable by removing the 12mm screw holding it. The caliper pins is quite short with no rubber attached to the end of it. Looks like the grease already turn black and dried up. Remove the old dried black grease with old cloth. Apply Toyo Australia - Brake Caliper @ Rubber Grease Fully Synthetic (RM24). Also cleaned the brake pad clip but can't perfectly clean it forgot to but metal brush. Put some grease also on the clips and brake pad ears. Sand the brake pads also. By the way the rear caliper is TRW brand.

Will see whether it'll stop the squeaking sound. Before that I just cleaning the brake disc with WD-40 brake cleaner but improve a little bit but still have the squeaking sound from time to time.

Any of u guys have replaced this car's alternator before?
My Amaron battery lost all charges after car left idle for more than 24 hours... battery been used for 14 months and still under warranty.

Batteryku guy came and check found that alternator charge not strong enough when both headlights & Aircond are on.
Battery can still charged up to 78% after car run for 15 minutes (without lights & AC of course).

Charging is never at idle..
The alternator is rated for 90 amps @ 2500rpm or 3000rpm iinm...
So.. start the car and take it for a drive to charge the battery..

Left your car 24 hours and battery fully depleted? If new battery also like that then that's some current leakage (parasitic electric draw), could be wiring shorted or some electronic component failure.
If battery itself faulty, it can't hold the charge itself after recharging. How batteryku test your alternator charging system? Using meter measurement or unplug battery terminator let car run on alternator while switching on headlamp and AC? If the latter part I doubt the accuracy of this testing.

Just changed arm part for rear right side.

Anyone got experience mistake put in the in reverse way ? I accidentally put in reverse way and now key can't eject from the slot... any way to eject out the key safely ?

Pull it out la.. no harm..

Use meter measurements on battery, before [when it's totally flat] and after running engine for 15 minutes.
The next day, I went to check in Senaxis and the mechanic said that both battery & alternator look fine.
Let's see what will happen when I will need to let my SS idle for the weekend.

BTW, I also found water pump will need to be replaced soon, now it has already noisy & small sipping leakage.

CVT damper recall already book for replacement in September.

Just want to share, after 7 month driving this car and is running on 14,000 kilometer. I've decided to change the exhaust system.

So i custom the downpipe and rear exhaust. Sound like a mk7 now haha . Satisfied !

Anyone facing weird problem in their infotainment system?
Mine keep entering navigation mode after started engine, without pressing anything.
Screen stop at page which prompt for user agreement and the touch screen will be hanging there.
Click 'Home' but navigation screen with reappear in split second. Click 'Back'/'Menu' but no response.
Please help.
