No answer but so far so goor.

I really suspect is Snapdragon 820 problem, else why mostly are US, China and Korea?
*
That might be the case since Snapdragon tends to heat up a lot... remember Snapdragon 810? *cough*

But I don't think it's completely the chipset fault, why aren't other flagships, OnePlus 3 or Axon 7 that uses the same chipset explodes?

maybe... and he didn't even ask whether me or my friend is aware of the Note 7 recall issue, just thought he would at mention it when I said the phone is Note 7.

they must be thinking, "such big news don't tell me the customer don't know". haha!

Maybe now is the grace period...

The SME announcement doesn't mention the dateline to return/exchange or refund. Is there a date line??

Will ask for refund and go with OnePlus3 hold with it until S8 release... I think this will be the right choice rather than s7edge... Anyone can suggest me with good deal for OnePlus3?

They subtly left out deadline, so that we can use until Note 8 or any name they call it, but they can't officially allow that haha....

Very much agree on that. Way too much premium for something not that particularly premium and innovating.
All i remember was when when cook said "brave" for taking out the headphone jack, I spitted out my drink.. and doubled that when the word "toilet proof" came out... biggrin.gif

But with that being said, I don't mind going to i7 or i7+ IF, thats a big IF, the price is lower or similar to N7.

LOL. it's ok lah. different company has different way of thinking in terms of design. in that way, there's innovation and sometimes benefits the consumer as well.

Not an iPhone fan, so not sure of previous models. But after holding the 7 plus, I really dislike the screen size, width is too broad and hard to hold, Note 7 size is so perfect. Even my friend who's a hardcore fruit fan, for the first time admitted that he prefer Note 7 screen size and the grip. So he ended up with iPhone 7 though he prefer larger screen.

Just got my hands on on the ip7+. Immediately miss my Note 7 screen. Anyway, the speaker from ip7+ is superb. Very loud and crisp. Camera low light is terrible. Hunting to focus and slow.

My friend is having issue with Note 7 and he is in oversea now, something to do with PUK code. Help him to call SME for support, went through the troubleshooting with the CS person over the phone, was put on hold numerous times as well when he is consulting his superior/leader for help. Surprisingly he didn't ask me to shutdown the Note 7 and stop using...
*
If I am not mistaken, PUK code is related to sim card, not the phone. So call the service provider instead of SME.

Me too, just get a chance to test it at digi store. Jet black is not as sexy as note 7 and home button is not button(not used to it) and no back button like note 7 really suffer

Can't be, 820 totally fixed the overheating issues, and we don't hear 810 phones explode.
