As for me I will go for the full refund and never take S7E since I use and give to my partner to use it. Got the Ip7 + just now and will use cheapo Mi Max until they launch a new Note...first time no Sammy to play with. Went to see the A9Pro and it nearly the same of Mi Max minus the price of course.
*
Nearly the same? I thought a9 amoled screen alot better than mi max......used to hv xiaomi note which consider xiaomi flagship once price rm1,549.....but really cannot beat a9 pro screen.....don think cheapo series mi max can come close to a9 pro screen

agreed, most probably will recommend china brand since their offerings are 1/2 price and comparable in specs..
*
BUT U THINK THOSE CHEAPER CHINA BRAND WILL OFFER BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN SAMSUNG? I USED XIAOMI NOTE 64GB BEFORE AND EVEN UNDER XIAOMI MALAYSIA WARRANTY SEND BACK TO SERVICE CENTER TO REPAIR THE POWER BUTTON WHICH THEIR MECHANIC SAID THERE IS NOT USER FAULT TO DAMAGE THE POWER BUTTON BUT HE CANNOT GET APPROVAL TO PROCEED THE SERVICE AND REPAIR WITHOUT CHARGES .. IT DRAGS AROUND 2 MONTHS AND STILL NOT RESOLVE....WITHOUT LOAN ANY TEMP PHONE TO ME......AND FINALLY FED UP AND I JUST PAY FOR THE REPAIR RM28 WHICH SUPPOSE TO BE UNDER COVER WARRANTY.....( THE PHONE BOUGHT AT RM1,549) MAYBE IS 1/2 OF NOTE 7 PRICE BUT FOR THE LOUSY WARRANTY CLAIM I FEEL LIKE IT'S ALMOST SAME LIKE NO WARRANTY IMPORTED SET.

Went kepoh iPhone 7/7 plus with my friend just now because he wanted to buy. Oh dear, way off Note 7, just don't like iPhone....
*
Me too, just get a chance to test it at digi store. Jet black is not as sexy as note 7 and home button is not button(not used to it) and no back button like note 7 really suffer

Not desperate to get full refund but i also not gonna take the 1st option exchange to s7 edge( because i already own one, planning to get note 7 and sold out my s7 edge initially but stop the plan after the recall) so, can sme generous enough to offer next model flagship with 500 cash back( appreciate the patience for waiting another few months and yet show support to stay with samsung brand) plus transfer the note 7 screen crack insurance and 2nd year extended warranty(bought for rm99 at service center) to my next samsung flagship model?

loose 32GB do true, 3rd part AOD, not sure, I don't own S7 Edge already but I do seen news mentioned new update for AOD.
*
Updated latest aod in my s7 edge but still not support third party apps notification like note 7, besides, abit used to the green battery icon....hahaa......that oso missing on s7 edge aod.

32gb does make alot difference.... that was my main reason to upgraded to n7 from s7 edge because i can use dual sim instead of sacrifice sim 2 as micro sd slot. With s7 edge i always running out of space thus no choice to put 64gb micro sd instead or 2nd sim (data sim).

But with the latest digi offer rm80 20gb i think i might not needed the 2nd data sim now .

die hard droid-fag.

file management is the least of cubone's concern when choosing a system.
security, user-friendliness, speed are more important factors.

besides ios apps are more accomplished.
*
Disagree, file management really matter, just like old time sony mp3 that must transfer music files thru sony software. It has been beaten by the open file management of other mp3 manufacturer and forced to follow the big trend....

I would said u are die hard fruit fans as well for ignorance of the fussy iTunes .....by the way, since i own android phone i seldom on my cpu as my android phone even a llow budget spare phone can serve like a cpu, download movie and music ,reply email, social apps, notes and etc....the only time i need on my cpu is when i wanna flash my phone.

only nerds love file management.

cubone is a busy person with a life and only interested in the content of the file and not spend nerdy moments organizing it.

I just got my ip7+ 256gb. Even though my preference is always on Android I still use an iPhone as a secondary phone. I am not a diehard Android user as said by some users here. A diehard will not even wish to buy an iPhone or even Windows phone
Which phone OS is more suitable depends on your needs
It is simply sad that some iPhone users refused to accept those IOS weaknesses. Even Android had its own range of weaknesses too.
*
Once hv an iPhone 4s but cannot stand when all ppl ringtone are same if u get wat i mean, don know if ios have improved or not....as for wp i hv one samsung activ.....is not that lousy like ppl thought but closer towards ios....is not as open as android and apps quality and quantity lack abit

This guy is true masterclass..see the way he kutuk Samsung really pengsan...plus confirm he charge in car..stupid or what?:

[attachmentid=7785914]

[attachmentid=7785915]

what's shocking is that he didn't know malaysia version also need to power down...drive honda + having n7 yet doesn't seem to follow the news the proper way...it's a global recall, globally have to power down..wonder why he still thought need to wait for pple to tell him explicitly is beyond me.

despite saying that, i'm hoping that he's OK and not badly injured...
*
Noticed that comments too...he using the same charger for s3 and s5 which aged minimum over 2 years above i guess....and the 2 old model was using micro usb charging port which differ from note 7 type c usb charging port....

Wonder this usb type c port maybe is the real cause for all the exploding issue? Coz note 7 is the first ever Samsung phone change to this type c port.....s7 edge with same spec and bigger battery 3600mah but using old type micro usb charger no much problem of explosion.

Correct me if i am wrong but i was teached that type c power output is much more level higher than micro usb gv.... constant use of other charger instead of the original type c charger samsung given might harm the battery built inside...

Eg...punch a guy may not kill him,but after constant punch for day to day finally he will died.....same predict to the note 7 battery.... frequent use of third party charger maybe is the cause of explosion.....and bending as welll.saw few cases explosion the user tend to put n7 behind ass pocket..... wonder how many time they punch n7 battery a day when they sit down....

If simply give warning, then not liable... many companies and people won't kena sue already.
*
If he contact sme silently maybe can get some cover up fee la....haha. ..

Now he posted at fb i think no reason for sme to gv good compensation other than the full refund of the device fee lo....

As user negligence shown in this case oso, he ignore samsung warning to power off device and charging using s3 or s5 charger. Hopefully sme still willing to ccompensate as per his request for cleaning up his car fee and etc.

*
me collect from imago yes store as well but i replace my phone at karamunsing service center and plus i have bought the extended warranty for 2nd year rm99. so now i also hope can directly deal with samsung service center instead of the yes store...

Thanks for the info, i think i will go directly to karamunsing and ask for the refund. But i did a livechat with samsung just a moment ago, the guy says i still need to refer back to YES store to do the refund. Really getting stress being push around.
*
ya, i don have time to go there also...better wait for confirmation first.......by the way i purchase note 7 without contract one.....so i guess not really need to deal with YES right......coz really will vomit blood leh if deal with YES staff....pre order time when i go collect the phone they also blur blur like don know have such phone called note 7.

Businessman Vincent Chui Tee Suan, 47, urged the company to offer a better replacement phone with a guaranteed flagship phone in the future.

He believed this would help Samsung retain loyal customers.

“They can offer a Galaxy Note 5 or even a mid-range phone to use for the moment, and no refund is required. Once their next flagship phone is released, either S8 or the Note replacement, we can swap the mid-range phone with the new flagship,” he said.

“This way, no refund is required and everyone stays as loyal customers.”

+1.....agree with this suggestion....if can use note 5 until new flagship out and swapped i won't choose refund
