If RM2490 -> CB RM49.80 or RM50.00 then you will get the answer.
If RM2500 -> CB RM50.00, then you won't know it is from May or June.

oh okok i got it now. it's the worry of missing out rm40 even rm500 is transacted 31st posted 1st? Then just reload all 2500 from 1st june onward i guess? why take chance on 31st may before mid night.

oh ok i think it has been verified twice. i was among the first one kena back in 2018 may. bought some g2000 transacted on 30th april and posted May. i tot it was 10% but it was only 2% so didnt get rm100 for May. then thought of the lowering spending in Sep by transacting on 31st aug. i think managed to do it with maxis/uobpayonline, but failed on bigpay (same day posting).

bet with bp this round manage to get it posted in june. hope mbb no change the system la haha.

No offense to those who did this but it’s simply make no sense of doing this.

Either you take risk and do RM500 on 31 May and wait for result or you do RM2500 on June to have a piece of mind.

Why would you want to do RM500 on 31 May and then still do RM2500 on June? Completely out of sense for me.

Cash back is usually credited on 1st of the month but only be reflected on the 2nd.

The cash back will be refreshed on every 1st of the calendar month. Cash back is calculate based on your transaction date instead of posting date. So, anything that transacted on 31 may does not count in June albeit the posting date is June

That’s the reason why Maybank don’t have option for credit card statement date on 1st and 2nd of every month.

my 30th apr 2018 transaction posted 2nd may 2018, gotten 2% cashback on 2nd june using May 2018 cashback allocation.

Hey guys, got a question, does "all purchases" mean literally all? Including Telco, Petrol, Spotify, Touch & Go, Insurance

Edited: Saw previous post and aware that utilities bills is not eligible for CB.

I think you confuse yourself.

For those who topup on 31st May RM500 hoping to get 10% of Rm50 in June (given in July), they won't topup 2500 anymore.

When CB given in July, they will know it is either RM10 or RM50.

The only sense is that they don't have to reload so much, so they withdraw lesser. Cost of withdrawal lower too.

Since whatever u posted after on 31st midnight, the cb will be considered next month's cb quota, so they are trying to bet it. Let's see if they updated the system or not.

Most ppl wait statement comes only spend, since statement captures upto 1st or 2nd transactions. Either spend on 31st or don't spend. Lol
