May I ask if I already have Maybank Islamic Credit Card (petronas), am I allowed to have Maybank Barcelona?
I read somewhere before that if you have a conventional credit card, your application for islamic credit card will most likely be refused. Is it the same for vice versa?

Banks have discretion to approve or reject. Many of us have cards from both entities.

I am also a Maybank Islamic Petronas Ikhwan card holder previously, before I apply Maybank FC Barcelona and M2C. Approved with no problem whatsoever

Thanks Yes, it is good. Groceries and petrol for daily and cash back capped at RM 88. However, take note of the AF but can be easily waived if fulfill the minimum spending.

RM88 x12 = RM1056
5% OR RM88 == RM1760 RM1760 X12 = RM21,120
Spend extra 30k-21,120 = 8880 = 8880TP 40,000 tp = rm100 8880 = RM22.20
total cash rebate = 1056 + 22.20 = 1078.20 %CB = 1078.20/30,000 ==> 3.594%
after all the hard work , 3.59%CB .....still not too bad
