Just to share, my friend who holds M2C Gold of RM10K CL applied Barcelona VS yesterday at The Gardens card centre, today already received SMS saying that the card is ready to collect. She didn't even provide any income doc, just presented her IC and M2C Gold cards, as well as signing a single-page form.

Currently I don't have credit card with Maybank, as previously I cancelled all my Maybank cards. now need to start all over again

M2C Gold and FCB VS are from the same financial entity.
It's easy to get as long as the income requirement disparity is not wide.

Not sure if her annual income meets the requirement for Barcelona VS when she applied for M2Cards 2 years ago.

MBB allow you to 'add card' easily if you have existing card with them. all my mbb cards were applied such way.

No need to furnish income doc after a couple of years? She applied for higher class type card somemore. If that's the case then it's very good! Too bad I don't have any MBB card, kept rejected even though applied at 1U card centre.

MBB2 Gold: RM 30k
MBB FCB VS: RM 48k
MBB2 Platinum: RM 60k

If your salary goes into MBB, no document is even required as long as your CCRIS is clean.

Not the high tier card MBB VS.

Ya her salary is credited into MBB, that explains why no need income doc

in fact, her current CL is already applicable to get that FCB card

Hi guys, I applied the FCB and got approval email with SMS on Tuesday,

email stated that the card will be ready to collect on three days. (today is Friday dy)

May I know would i receive any SMS information when the card is really ready for collection?

call the branch back.

there wont be any sms to you because there's no direct way for branch to trigger sms thru mbb system.

by right branch staff suppose to call you once they received the card package from card centre/hq. but, they would just ignore due to busy or whatnot.

so, better proactively call them to check. you might get the good news.
