I'm surprised they increase my CL by RM4k after approving the FCB VS.

Few months back I tried to get a CL increase but got rejected.

Funny thing is, its the same set of document I send to them.

Received my card yesterday, it looks good imo.

Probably time to ask for a CL increase.

Should apply for Ikhwan Visa & Mastercard instead, another credit limit for your petrol and groceries expenses.
For FCB VS, Credit limit of RM5,000 is enough, as once you spend RM2,500 you will not get additional cashback for that month. Unless you aim for 0% Balance Transfer.

Called CS to check.
CS cannot even know the reason of being rejected.
They asked me to submit another manual application using email.
Really time wasting!

Maybank hasn't contacted me to pick up my card ... should I just call them and check? I'm not around next week :/

If I am not mistaken U also get rejection when applying for PBB CC, could it be similar reasons like overBT, PTPTN?

I got mine within an hour at The Gardens Maybank Card Center. I'm guessing you should be able to push them to get it done quickly

Me also. But I went to card centre instead. CS told me it's technical problem, system auto rejected. So u might have a try.

I'm an existing customer with MBB. I have 2 FDs with maturity > 6 months.
I got only 1 BT with them which already > half way. I also reduced my CL for my CIMB card > 3 months ago.
For PBB, I don't have products with them. I could understand why they want to reject and I don't even care at all!

I'm having problem with uploading documents. Total size of my PDF files are well below 4MB but after clicked on the upload button, it keep returning to the upload documents page again

If i not wrong your CL after this VS approval is adjusted nearly 20k
my case also same, gold 2 card to platinum 2 card increase 8k for me (10k to 18k)
then last time get VS before increase 2k to me to 20k

After a few try, I decided to email the supporting document to them and quote them with the application number. And also call up to make sure they get it.

Send it on Wednesday morning and got it approved on Thursday noon.

sad to hear about how maybank treat you badly. So far maybank has been good to me, now Im having m5c already hehe.

You are right. It's nearly 20k.

Just surprise that they increase my CL even though the FCB VS only requires 48k pa income.
