Just submitted my application (filled in some form) at KLCC Maybank. Not sure if it was a card centre ... not sure how long it will take. Seems like quite a few people have applied judging from his expression.

He just told me that it's subjected to approval ... and I'll find out in about 3 days

Applied at KLCC around 11.15am today, haven't received any SMS.

Thought of asking for advice (whether to call them or go to the centre again tomorrow), but I checked my m2u and I see it there, pending activation hope that means it's been approved!

Maybank hasn't contacted me to pick up my card ... should I just call them and check? I'm not around next week :/

So just to share my experience:

I applied yesterday at KLCC, around 11.15am, received no messages whatsoever. This morning around 10am I called customer service to check on the status of my card, seeing as it has already showed up on my m2u. They told me that it's ready to be collected, so around 2pm I dropped by KLCC again to pick up my card.

Staff at KLCC branch were pretty helpful and cheery!

p.s. how do I check whether I'm one of the first few to get the card again? Which numbers on the card do I refer to?

Hmm got RM50 cash rebate for the month of August but couldn't figure out why, definitely spent less than RM5000. Anyone have any clue why? Could it have something to do with EzyPay?
