I went to The Gardens branch again to help my foreigner colleague. Got her FD cert and walked over, the other staff asking our officer what card my colleague is applying and he told her M2Cards Plat and FCB VS. She laughed and said, "Oh, Barcelona card again."

I guess these few days they non stop processing FCB VS card.

Wee~ Another proud owner

So just to share my experience:

I applied yesterday at KLCC, around 11.15am, received no messages whatsoever. This morning around 10am I called customer service to check on the status of my card, seeing as it has already showed up on my m2u. They told me that it's ready to be collected, so around 2pm I dropped by KLCC again to pick up my card.

Staff at KLCC branch were pretty helpful and cheery!

p.s. how do I check whether I'm one of the first few to get the card again? Which numbers on the card do I refer to?

2% every day and capped at RM 50 cash back.
10% every day and capped at RM 100 cash back for May and August only.

That's all. Just need to play around with the dates.

She was forced to pledge despite exceeding the requirement to own M2Cards and FCB VS. MBB insisted she must pledge to get her cards approved.
Short answer to your question, yes she pledged FD but in branch and brought back the cert to card centre. Card centre cannot pledge FD. You can apply in branch when you pledge FD but since her case is all handled by card centre, so they asked her to bring back the cert.

I applied at MV Gardens card center at 12.30pm today and now I can already see the card in M2U card activation/PIN section. Officially joining the club (not Barcelona of course)!

CL upgraded slightly and now stands at 2.1x gross salary. Maybank is really conservative in extending CL, at least to me.

Do they practice the cb pool same as M2c? Like if transaction date on end of May but posted of 1st of June, will be counted as 10% or 2%? Haha suddenly think of this scenario.

i mean when i see the 1st statement include expenses with correct amount of cashback
then i only really believe it, after all is a new card

Well, gotta try on this month then. If it is posted in following month and calculated as following month's CB, then yes it is.
As far as I know Maybank uses this method.
