in the mean time you can use PBVS to spend on groceries.
for petrol, you can apply for Maybank Ikhwan but it is only Friday/Saturday cash back.
Or you can apply Citibank Cash Bate, got 5% for all days but must accumulate RM20 for that month then only got the CB, else it will bring forward.
UOB also got 5% plus additional 2% smart rebate for BHP but only apply to Sat/Sun.

for walk-in application, dont even need to submit anything. just fill in a simple form, the staff helped to fill. this was at The Gardens previously when i applied ikhwan visa petronas.

After 30 minutes, received email that the application is unsuccessful although I'm holding MBB 2 Plat Cards & MBB Visa Signature..

Got my VS Barcelona! The staffs told me I was the first one to apply from Gardens branch and even more surprised how I got to know that fast.

Applied at around 2 p.m. and just collected it.

Applied at M2U and approved in principle. A few minutes later, received a rejection notice via email!
I will send a love letter to Maybank Card Centre, as I am existing M2 Platinum customer, request to add another card.

Only in Nov/Dec I can fly to KL and go to MV/1U Card Centre.
No application form found at M2U. Local Maybank branch may not have the forms yet.

Coincidence! just received a call to collect at 1u as well. Applied there around 11am today though.
