Apple MY added a new page for Wallet but no signs of AP yet. Ugh. I thought there's something to look forward to but this is just heartbreaking.

All countries have this page I guess.

can you give some bank as an example?
never apply for foreign credit card.

Go here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207957

Open account in foreign country, fulfil their deposit requirements than you can get a credit card with them.

Arghhh, I missed it. Seems like it's an easter egg for this service cos there's someone in the reply mentioning it as an easter egg.

Any chance anyone here caught a glimpse? Maybe it's a date?

Apple pay and Samsung pay still have the advantage in terms of 'card replacement'.

If Apple pay integrates TnG or even any debit card, you can use it at any train station or parking space without carrying your card.

The qr route would only work best if every train station, parking etc has qr scanners.

At the end of the day, anyone who is willing to fork out for Apple's fees would only enable Apple Pay here. Too many eWallet players and now with the push for DuitNow QR and also next year when Bank Negara announces the winners of the Digital Banking license holders, it's going to be quite unlikely for Apple Pay here. That is my gut feel.

I feel the same as Apple not aggressive to enter MY market and it's dominant by various eWallet now.

They aren't aggressive as it isn't their main priority at the moment. Having worked with the local team before, when they want to be aggressive in a market, they will be aggressive.

It has. It replaces physical cards including TnG which could then be used in train stations, parking spaces etc. All areas which qr payment will not work!

qr pay is still not as widely available as card payment.

It is directive from BNM, all banks can participate given they agree to their terms. I cannot disclose more than that.

2 months left to "prove" you guys are not lying. biggrin.gif

Or is there any updates on it being pushed back or even worst, put on hold? bye.gif
