Pathetic Malaysia.
It’s not Apple fault , it’s depend our banks and gov nothing else.
Why our neighbour country can support Apple Pay so quickly but but we can’t ?
Local banks here just want to push their own system which is not work very well , they just failed to admit it.
Another thing is our beloved gov don’t know all these kind advance technology instead they prefer traditional way and baby step for qrpays

I used about 90% of AP with UOB debit card in Sg after back to KL I am really not used to it, like back to dinosaurs century. QRpay never compete with AP.
Can someone share , it is possible non-local banks launch AP faster then local banks ? I know I may live in my own fantasy but still hope it will still happens more next 5 or 10 years

Looks like Apple is bringing the ecg function for Apple watch. Is this a sign that we are being considered as an important market? Maybe Apple pay will be next.

It is not on Apple, is our Bank Negara and local banks.
I doubt that they will launch AP anytime this year

It would be nice to just add a source but nevertheless, I've found it.

I am curious about local bank vs international banks launch AP.
For example AP launch in Sg, UOB and other banks were introduced to their customers very quick.
For Malaysia, why not banks like UOB Citibank and HSBC push to the market before local banks ?

We wouldn’t know when AP is going to launch in MY.
I been using AP in MY (Top up Bigpay - Bank SG) , I think it’s not hard to implement since most of card terminals accept Paywave
