Yes...this is one of their latest features called donno what quick payment. You can spend even though your wallet doesnt have enough balance. After you spend then they will deduct the amount from you CC. And also the auto-reload function when your balance falls below a certain amount...

Then this raise another Q....why still so many stupid drivers stuck in RFID toll for not sufficient balance? I am not saying those stuck because it cannot detect your RFID, but those that detected and u see the screen/signboard says not enough balance...

I just finished activated ApplePay by using N26 Bank on my iPhone

You may try to download N26 Apps from German app store
and video verification from 8am-12am CET (Around 2pm-6am MYT)

But it’s need german address for plastic card delivery
I use tiptrans for virtual address and forward that card to malaysia later.

Actually for boon, suggest boon.planet it’s easier registration and verification more than boon plus, just video verification show your passport and turn your passport left right by verification agent’s advise and that’s it completed.

In Malaysia, our contactless payment is not even really contactless. I bet 99% of the outlets you visited, you/cashier literally asked you to put ur card on the terminal. If you pass your card to the cashier, sometimes even they forcefully tap your card on the terminal until the card bends.  Gets on my nerve everytime when I see that because they are literally bending our cards and "hurting" the card. Anyways, yeah, we aint really "contactless".

Here's where it gets interesting. PBB looks like this. As long you wave (regardless pin entry or not), it's still considered as a contactless payment. I cannot speak for other banks/cards but mostly, it will be the same logic. At most, they will label it differently for the end user (for instance, 'pin entry'). If you realise, if we do put our card into the machine and enter pin, it will be labeled as "chip entry".

Just wait apple update their website then, if Apple Pay coming real soon they will update on apple Malaysia website say Apple Pay coming soon like Argentina and Peru launching, this 1000% real haha

I think I owe you guys a little update on the apple pay development here in Malaysia since I have been partially involved in getting your hopes up.

Well, initially the service was scheduled to be launched before March 2022, but due to unforeseen reasons from the Central Bank, the launch is currently pending until further notice.

As long as the terminal supports PayWave, AP will work (using my SG card in Malaysia)
And It seems really soon already, our iOS dev has finished building AP support for my company’s app.

I'm assuming it's some ewallet with card? 🤔
