just now hsbc called to offer master plat card talk about contactless spending example she mentioned apple pay
told her apple pay not exist in Malaysia yet
but she said in her staff product description included it
does it mean hsbc will launch apple pay as well once bnm give green light?

Yeah, I remember saying even though HSBC & Standard Chartered support Apple Pay in Singapore and other markets; doesn’t mean Malaysia will get Apple Pay. I hope I’m wrong though, if any HSBC rep. is reading I support HSBC MY supporting Apple Pay for both credit/debit cards. Would make domestic & international payments so much easier.

Maybe. I got a friend working in HSBC telesales dept. I asked, he sees no “Apple Pay” word in his “product desc”. Either upper mgmt updated it away or that CS rep bantai only.

What do you mean no problem? The fact that it can only work on a few Samsung phones makes it a big problem.

Probably helps that Samsung is doing business in Malaysia directly as Samsung Malaysia Electronics, while Apple is not.
