Here's a bit of side investigation on my own to find some hints. Last year Revenue Group was awarded a contract by PayNet to develop tokenization for MyDebit, under the subsidiary Revenue Secure Sdn Bhd. Found the co-founder on LinkedIn and this is on his profile. Doesn't seem like a general list of technologies more like what he's actively working on, since Google Pay isn't mentioned, and Samsung Pay is mentioned and is already in Malaysia. So it's true that it's coming soon? But if true, sad that Google Pay isn't coming as soon as Apple Pay. ![]() aazzam14 liked this post

QUOTE(kevinpss @ Apr 2 2022, 09:56 PM) I wonder why SAMSUNG PAY can do it in Malaysia but not APPLE PAY??? Probably helps that Samsung is doing business in Malaysia directly as Samsung Malaysia Electronics, while Apple is not.https://www.samsung.com/my/samsung-pay/supported-devices/ |

Now that Grab won one of the digital banking license, possible that they bring this feature over that already exist in Singapore once they release their own card here?

Reminder when want to use Apple Pay just tell the cashier you want to wave, if you say Apple Pay and the cashier don't know they will think it's some ewallet😂 experience from using SPay syhwzn, PoisonSoul, and 8 others liked this post

QUOTE(yenchenje @ Aug 9 2022, 02:38 PM) TnG has the NFC tech, now it's just a matter of whether they'll suck it up for the sake of their customers Even with the NFC tech they are still on an older Mifare system, won't work at all with tokenization unless they upgrade the Mifare system they are using. QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Aug 9 2022, 04:10 PM) Actually there is no issue if they want to put their cards inside Apple Pay. Mifare is one thing, but there's different systems within Mifare. TnG still using an older Mifare system while most of the world already using a newer one. I believe the older Mifare system that TnG is using can't work with Google Pay Apple Pay etc. But yea as u said, can't expect much from them.Apple Pay supports MiFare and Felica. Now the issue is they want in or not. But we know how TnG operates, so we should expect lower from them. khainiz94 liked this post

QUOTE(wjleong15 @ Aug 9 2022, 10:15 PM) Surprisingly until now tiger still no ap promotion Probably costed more to support Debit Cards also, maybe that's already enough for customer acquisition. As ppl that want to try but don't have Ambank or SCB CCs their only choice is MaybankUnlike amb and scb got 50% and 100% cb promo on first spend youngwolf2k and wjleong15 liked this post
