lol dafug. why even bother mang, you go and see fantasia and queue one popular ride and finish time liao. either go a full day or don't go.

[edit] I have done the half day 6pm thing, but that's cos my wife is a HUGE Duffy/Shellie-Mae fan. So our only purpose to go is to buy the bears and the clothes. This ticket is not worth it at all otherwise. All the shows will already have stopped, you queue one ride and habis time, need to go get a good spot for watching the Fantasia closing liao.

6pm to 10pm not enough? i think 4200yen around 4hours inside there still worth it. Just walking around and try a few ride. icon_rolleyes.gif

No option left bro as i dont have much time. On the 1st day I just go any place along JR Keiyo line and Chuo line. So just walking and hopping between station. After 10 can go back direct and sleep laugh.gif
2nd day is around Yamanote Line and maybe take one or two metro line.
After a few more read I think Tokunai pass is more worth it for my plan than JR Tokyo wide pass. Am i right bro? Please correct me if I am wrong laugh.gif http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/pass/tokunai_pass.html

Up to you. If you really want to just check it off your list and declare that you went to disneysea then go for it. But in those few hours all you can do is basically walk around a bit, maybe ride 1-2 of the non-popular rides, and watch the Fantasia ending show & fireworks. That's it. If that's worth it for you then OK lo, but given the short time you have I wouldn't bother.

hi guys, was wondering if anyone have experience of using Yokoso Sim ?

Im travelling for a month so internet sim seems more affordable than a wifi router. Buying from SG for the 91 days sim, and it's less than RM200.

Thank for your helping.
I am no understand what you mean"For Osaka, it will only stop at two station which is shinosaka and tennoji"..
It that means the Haruka train will stop at shinosaka and tennoji?

I am buying JR rail pass (will use two ways Shinkasen).
I am trying to avoid subway and maximize my JR train to save my transportation fees.

TQ.
*
Haruka Train, aka limited express train, will pass by only few places, which are Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara. So, for Osaka, it has only two stations that it will stop by, which tennoji station and shin osaka station.

If you would like to have more stops, then you should go for Kansai-Airport Rapid Service(For Kyobashi).
Since your final station is JR Namba, then you should skip Haruka train and take this because this train will stop at JR Namba station straight
save your time in turning here and there.

For a moment, you made me thought I looked at wrong trains rclxub.gif

Hello all!

I'm planning for 11 days 10 nights trip! On November
From 7th-17th

There's a few questions wanna ask..

Do I need to carry thick shirts and umbrella? I'm not really sure would it be cold although according to the information I found it's around 15c-23c.
Need some good advice on this.
My flight is departing from KUL - OSAKA

7th-11th staying in OSAKA

Planning to take night bus to Tokyo on the 11th, so I should be arriving in Tokyo in the morning where I actually save cost for 1 night.

12th-14th staying in Tokyo

Leaving on the 14th from Tokyo to Kyoto

14th-17th

on the 17th I'll be going back to Osaka and back to Msia.

Should I get JR pass?

Any recommendation? Besides about my transports and which location is the best and the location I should be staying at.

Thanks!

Clothing wise, just bring a normal jacket. That temperature, tshirt and normal jacket is good enough. Most likely you'll stop by Uniqlo Japan to get more warm clothing anyways. tongue.gif

Oh and why not just concentrate in Osaka and nearby cities instead? You don't have much time in Japan to travel both Osaka and Tokyo. Somemore you have to get back to Osaka to fly out of Japan.

If you ask me, Disneyland/Disneysea, it's a full day or no day at all. Don't like to rush here rush there when there's so many people around already.

All JR assets carried the logo "JR" in front of the assets. Thus for shinkansen, try to avoid nob JR shinkansen such as Nozomi that using the same track. This train is operated by diff co & not cover by JR rail pass.

Tobu bus not included rite?
some typo (assume) on someone blog about Nikko trip actually make me confuse, mentioning JR pass is can be use on their bus to Yumoto onsen (which i think he meant All Nikko Pass.)
has a plan is to go Ryuzu fall (it costs 1400yen for single trip shocking.gif )
i checked JR Tochigi bus only cover the Nikko city central only n doesnt go oku-nikko.

plan to fully use my JR pass. icon_idea.gif

Tobu is another diff company. On my 1st trip there, I bought Tobu day pass to Nikko takung Tobu line (slow train hor). Once reaching nikko - tobu stn ( not JR) just hop to any buses & show the day pass. For JR line, there will be train line to nikko too but on diff stn & buses u need to pay kua...not sure..need further research.

This is the problem in Japan. Too many independent tpt operators and need to buy new ticket everytime switch lines. This was what happened in KL years ago b4 pasarana integrate all the lines

Middle next year i going to Hokkaido with family. Got small kids, any recommendation on where to visit?
Likely to go around by bus or train. So far I only think of the Asahikawa Zoo. I wonder if worth to go hakodate side, or go east to Obihiro (but i see there need to rent car to get to POI)

Is it some kind of train trip plan, where you just stop station by station to enjoy foods/views nearby the train station?

Not only stop stn by stn lah, wth jr rail pass, u are able to travel from the northern most city till southern most city in Japan. However 1 week pass probably can cover 1/2 of Japan the most.

My previous 7D6N trip, I managed to stay 2D1N in Hiroshima, 2D1N in Osaka, 2D1N in Kyoto, 1st night b4 Hiroshima in Tokyo & the last 2 nites in Tokyo again & ID spent at Karuiza ski & factory outlet ~200km from Tokyo.

Total distance covered approx 2000+ km. Btw Hiroshima is ~4.5hrs travel via shinkansen or ~900km from Tokyo... not bad...all using this RM1k rail pass. If individually, a 1 way ticket to Hiroshima already ~ RM800!

Nice! Even extend to 13 days, for osaka / kyoto + tokyo is just touching the surface. I spent 2 weekends in tokyo, and 6 days for kyoto / osaka + day trip to universal studio, kobe + himeji. If anything, research way ahead on places to go and you can start planning on your routes using google maps. Their train and bus system is updated very accurately on google maps real time, so it's actually very useful when you plan ahead and can put it to use.

I'm already planning to go back next year, but probably do tokyo + hokkaido!
