The disconnection you are facing, are you referring to the PPPoE connection being disconnected? Or just the wireless disconnection??

Just for Wireless connection.

i want unifi 50mbps on high rise building
*
If the high rise got fiber, can apply 100Mbps.
If the high rise got copper, can apply 50Mbps, but depends on the attainable speed. Just walkin to TMPoint and said that you wanna go for 50Mbps and ask them to check your attainable speed. The attainable speed will depends on the copper quality from equipment room until the telephone port at your house whistling.gif

Hi,

Need help. Just upgraded my office Unifi from 50Mb to 100Mb but couldn't get my Asus RT-N14UHP (which works fine previously with 50Mb) to get the 100Mb. The newly installed 100Mb works fine with the TM given router (Dlink DIR 850L).

Please help. I'm thinking to replace the DLINK DIR 850L with my ASUS RT-N14UHP cause it seems stable and suitable for office usage.

Thanks.

Any homeplug with speed rating AV500 and above is more than good enough to achieve best possible speed.

You cannot get 100Mbps through LAN cable or through WiFi?
And what device do you use to run the speedtest? Phones? Tablets? Laptops or desktop PC connected using LAN cable directly to the router?

good for you, actually 6 months before white orange color router that provided by TM also got faulty, but they just replace brand new one with the same router,I still feel strange and recently I just called about connection issues at my pc with that router, technician just came and say no problem, ask me to change router myself, then start from that day,I don't want call technician come to our home anymore, waste my time for wait them come...call technician still cannot change router,so what I can say,buy router ourself, that it,I now just use the router that I bought myself, more better than the router that provided by TM and super cheap, only RM49 and no need waste time about the internet issue anymore...

hehehehe.. maybe u should called them to come and fix it or get it replaced with a new router even when u have the RM49 router. When they came to your house, quickly change your router to the Unifi stock router. Once they replaced it, put back your RM49 router. At least if they replaced it, you have a backup router...

Guys I have a question. I'll be having a unifi by the end of the year (after applying for a simple streamyx/telephone pole more than 4 years, n finally they recently connected a unifi pole to my housing area with some agents inquiring about unifi's interest in the area).

so here's the thing. My PC is upstairs n my TV is downstairs. Is it possible to have the hypptv box downstairs and the modem/router/whatever that is connecting to the internet upstairs? sorry if the question sounds simple n ridiculous. i really have no idea whats a btu unit n etc lol.

option 1 :Leave yr btu upstairs and get a pair of homeplugs or pull a long cat5e cable down to first floor.

option 2: Put the btu downstairs and connect lan from router directly to hypptv, pc connect by wifi.

Strangely I can't run the bufferbloat speedtest, which one should I click? DSL?

Any option will do, But I choose public wifi all the time because the "Fiber" one gives me bad rating.

They come many time that is same person, they not intend want give me router unless FAULTY,they just looks speedtest okay only then they go out of my house, and they told me that go to change router yourself if you want good speed,I give the hint for them about the new router that given by TM,but still not intend to give me....SO Now I don't want call them come again and better change it myself even the other devices get some problem. Now my RM49 router is works very well now,and I feel so good by using this router after few days and no problem at all.

Because Malaysian Fiber is slow. That's the international standard for Fiber connection sad.gif
