hi guys got a question... im moving to my new condo... the area around the condo already has unifi.. but the management informed me that the condo is still on streamyx... any idea how can we prompt tm to come and do the installation so that the condo can get unifi as well? i think they need to do something at the telecoms room right?

Tested on phone (phone connected to Wi-Fi), also slow
But when testing using mobile data, lelong loads fast

Time to get new IP (restart router)

Oh yeah, just realized that
Nevermind, I'll just restart my router first

Disabling IPv6 will be the last resort laugh.gif

Yes, it does for my case. Some of my usual visited China sites cannot be accessed.
Hence, I disabled it for now.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to check for Unifi Users. do you all have to pay monthly rental for fixed line? My existing streamyx package actually voids my phone rental and keep it at RM 1.
Was wondering what will happen to this if i switch over to unifi.

The RM 179 package is damm tempting for me as I am currently using 1mbps
*
UniFi uses it's own fiber optic line. No need to rent the copper line anymore. Streamyx package should be free rental. The RM1 afaik is for "butiran panggilan STD" or whatever, but not rental. You can ask TM to take that out if you don't need it and save RM1 monthly.

Mine is Archer C5 (30mbps package). Just installed yesterday, but so far so good.

Yes, my RM 199 came with free calls and even I had about 3-4 months of free when I was on RM 179. After that they quietly removed it.

Not a problem for me, I never even install my phone let alone having free calls.

Well, no format. Just write your disappointment, complaint and proposed request.

How to quietly remove free call ?
Can do it ourself ?

I'm not having Wi-Fi issue, that issue was something to do with my old IP address
I never had any issue with my Wi-Fi

PS: I'm using ASUS RT-AC68U. I don't use any of the TM (Huawei, D-Link, TP-Link) provided routers, they're all crap, no matter what model you get whistling.gif

Get UniFi. Yes, they're expensive but always keep in mind that as bad as TM goes, they're still the best ISP in Malaysia
If you want to save money by going with Maxis, go ahead, but be reminded that you will be tied down to a 2 year contract before you can sign up with another ISP icon_idea.gif

Addendum: The best ISP in Malaysia is TIME Fibre, but since their coverage is very very limited, they're out of the picture
