only existing customer before 31st Dec 2016.but not everyone is applicable for this upgrade.one who enjoyed free upgrade before like VIP 5 to 10, can't get this free upgrade anymore.so if u never enjoy free upgrade before,just wait.maybe u are the lucky one.

Will unifi or maxis get cheaper by 1st Jan 2017, according our great PM?

if u accept the offer now,u get 10Mbps for 159 earlier then rest of us.so when 2017 comes, they will not upgrade your 10 to 20.if u don't accept the offer,you may get the free upgrade in 2017.


no harm subscribing 30 right now for 179,later 2017 u pay 179 u get 50Mbps.

One important question, are they going to align the prices with the speed they are offering? Unlike now some ppl paying less, some ppl paying more with the same speed they getting.

I don't think they will realign the price for the cheaper.

this upgrade exercise is for existing customer only.so if u buy in 2017,u still paying the same retail price in 2016.think this as a bonus from Najib and Co.LOL

misunderstand.if he does the free upgrade for you this year,u don't get another free upgrade in 2017.

sorry for asking too many question. i'm kinda blur now.

currently they offer me upgrade from my 5Mbps (RM149) to 10Mbps (rm159).
Then they mentioned that starting next year the 10Mbps will be upgraded for free to 30Mbps.

so if i take the offer to upgrade to 10mbps for additional RM10(is this consider free upgrade?), will i be entitled for the free upgrade in 2017?

Xefron, very confusing to read your comments. Lol..... some depend on luck for selection, some can be upgrade, some not. No proper guideline from TM to CS? If someone too lucky till upgrade to 50mbps now then next year 100mbps. This can be happened also.

I got problem with wifi on my phone at first (fine on PC). But it wasn't just slow, it was like nothing would load. Then I checked the wifi settings on the phone (modify network) and change DNS to use Google's DNS, it now works fine. Not sure why that is and if it's the same issue with you.

My mom's friend got a similar offer.

For new customers that just installed UniFi (2016) will also get the free upgrade?

I am planning to upgrade my router. I am currently using tplink WDR4300. Anyone here using the Asus RT-ac68u? I heard it have overheating issue and drop connections on the 2.4ghz. I do have other alternative in mind like the TPlink C2600 or c3120. Need recommendation.
