QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 24 2016, 09:49 PM) Unlikely they will switch to 199 after two years. Nobody knows what will happen by then, just take first. See, like now suddenly our PM announced same price double speed. Yeah, gonna apply soon. I asked this afternoon if I could get the promo RM179 price via dialing 100 and the staff said yes. I told her I had to discuss with my dad before applying. After that I called 100 again and the staff said the promo price is over and now they are offering at RM199. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 24 2016, 11:59 PM) I talked to 3 staffs and all said they are offering at RM199. I'm not sure if the first staff I talked to was sure she could get the RM179 package for me. Fortunately, I told her to call me tomorrow after I discussed with my father. Hope she would call me soon xD |

QUOTE(keeystar @ Oct 25 2016, 09:13 PM) I applied through agent, yes. I used streamyx for almost 7 years but TM does not offer me promo price for UniFi. I'm not getting one month free since it is only available if apply online through website which is at RM199. If you need the voice call plan then you should apply through website. |

What's the download speed for 30mbps UniFi package? I mean when you're really downloading something from the internet.
Btw, can the HyppTV device connect to the router/modem wirelessly? This post has been edited by oscar16: Oct 26 2016, 01:10 AM |

My friend applied at TMpoint today the 30mbps UniFi promo package. It is said to be Q3 2016 Campaign. Anyone knows about this? Is the package exactly the same as the promotion before, i.e. RM179 without voice call plan?

I applied for UniFi and currently my house is using streamyx under my mother's name. I know I'm getting a new phone number for UniFi but can I cancel the streamyx and keep the old phone number (that means I would have 2 phone numbers). If yes, how much would I be charged every month?
Btw, can I receive or make calls if the UniFi modem or router or UniFi itself is not functioning? This post has been edited by oscar16: Oct 27 2016, 02:05 AM |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 27 2016, 02:49 AM) Yes you can. Just make sure you tell the counter to keep your old phone line active when you cancel your streamyx. Also make sure the operator link your old phone number to your unifi account in their system. If not, their system will see your old phone number under a seperate account and they will keep charging you leasing phone line fee (RM 22-23..I forgot) every month. After linking your old phone number to your unifi account, they will only charge you rm1 (leasing fee) per month. Of course, they will charge you extra like normal when you use the old phone line to call. Thank you! Just want to make this clear. The UniFi is under my name and the old phone number is under my mum's name. Is it still possible to link?Depends. Sometimes the internet connection is off but the call line is still working. The new line is connected to the BTU unit. It has nothing to do with your router. You need to make sure your BTU unit is working in order to keep the new phone line active. |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 27 2016, 03:08 AM) Yes. Absolutely can. I can guarantee that because I also had the exact same situation like yours. Great! My father has his own business and that phone number is very important for customers to contact him. I'm glad this could be done at RM1 per month My Unifi account is under my name, but my home old phone line is under my father's name. So I asked the operator whether I can keep the old line after I cancel the streamyx. She said can. I knew that the old line leasing fee could be waived if one registered Unifi account. So I asked her if I can apply that eventhough the old phone line is not under my name. She said can, as long as the address for both account are the same. After she keyed in something to their system, voila! Everything settle. I can enjoy my Unifi while my old folks still can use the old phone line to call, with only RM1 leasing fee per month. When you cancel your streamyx, make sure you tell them clear and loud about your request and make sure they do settle it on the spot for you. Does that mean 2 separate bills would be sent to my house, one for UniFi (my name) and one for the old phone number (mum's name). |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Oct 27 2016, 03:21 AM) Yes. The bill of the old phone number will still be under your mum's name though. Got it! Thank you very much for your explanation Btw, only the old phone line bill will be sent to your home by posman. As for Unifi, you will need to access the online bill statement and make your payment online through their TM portal. |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Oct 27 2016, 08:22 AM) Can anyone share the current package that available for new user? Want to upgrade to Unifi from current streamyx. I can see some got 169,179,199. What the different? The only difference between RM179 and RM199 plan is the availability of voice call plan (FREE 600 minutes). For the RM199 package, you are forced to get the voice call plan regardless of you not needing it. On the other hand, the RM179 package gives you the option of getting the voice call plan or not (add RM20). Since I don't usually make calls I don't need the voice call plan and I subscribed the RM179 package.I'm not really sure about the RM169 package, I saw some people saying that they were offered this price by TM for selected loyal customers and it even includes the voice call plan. Correct me if I'm wrong, guys. |

I heard people saying that it is possible to terminate the HyppTV pack in UniFi Advance after 12 months and pay lesser. Is this legit? Anyone tried this before?

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Oct 27 2016, 04:34 PM) But agent only offer RM179 without free call... Which agent can offer RM179 with free call? Can any1 share their bill that show RM179+free call? Maybe can log to SKMM and report. after that ask for this package too No, the package that I got from agent does not have free call. I'm okay with it since we seldom use the phone to make calls. I saw someone posted that they received calls from TM to offer them RM179 with free calls. It really depends on the sales team of TM and if you're lucky you may get the package from them. |
