QUOTE(dares @ Oct 1 2016, 02:30 PM) There is a parts price list in the first post of this thread, you can check there. Thanks mate. Didn't realize it was there. I assume the price listed are Proton official price? Absorber durability depends on your daily driving road conditions. And your luck. Some tahan lama some not so much, no fixed interval. Another question that I have is, I noticed the steering vibrates a lot on idle. Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to solve it? |

That price list was from a few years ago, expect the price to be slightly higher now.Another question that I have is, I noticed the steering vibrates a lot on idle. Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to solve it? Vibration during idling are usually due to worn engine mounting. |

Anyone facing the same issue?
1. After switching off the engine, car repeatedly lock and unlock the doors itself ( intermittently) When the issue occurs, doors cannot be locked using remote and keys (it will unlocks itself after seconds) update : driver side's door lock actuator is faulty, might because of this, as mentioned by lowyat members, TQ. 2. Squeaking noise from rear seats (back supports) when passenger lie down & get up 3. Front passenger door handle hard to open, sometimes 4. Boot/trunk spring noise (opening & closing) 5. side skirting (driver's side) is not contact properly in the back end (already send to SC once to fix it) This post has been edited by zkteh: Oct 8 2016, 07:31 PM |

QUOTE(zkteh @ Oct 3 2016, 05:53 PM) Anyone facing the same issue? from my experience1. After switching off the engine, car repeatedly lock and unlock the doors itself ( intermittently) When the issue occurs, doors cannot be locked using remote and keys (it will unlocks itself after seconds) 2. Squeaking noise from rear seats (back supports) when passenger lie down & get up 3. Front passenger door handle hard to open, sometimes 4. Boot/trunk spring noise (opening & closing) 5. side skirting (driver's side) is not contact properly in the back end (already send to SC once to fix it) 1. might be the battery not enough juice, or one of the door lock/door lock gun is faulty (replaced 2 units in the 4-5 years of ownership) ...or the alarm module (havent' experience this) 2. might be the rear seats are not installed properly (took out the rear seats many times and didn't install it back properly) 3. same with mine, suspect the door latch is is the problem, tried to adjust the door striker plate still the same 4. still bearable for me these are my opinions, wait for others for theirs |

QUOTE(Yozaa @ Oct 5 2016, 02:56 PM) If you are referring to the "oil" like stain around the wheel arch and some on the spring/absorbers, then yeah. I can confirm this.Initially I thought it was my absorber which had leaked, but both sides had the same "stain" or "oil" or "grease" whatever you may call it. I went to Proton and was told it's something like antirust grease. I wasn't so convinced so I asked a few shops around and they said the same thing so I was finally convinced. I got to know about it when my car was 2 months old and now after 1 and a half years, the stain is the same and there's no sound that shows the absorber is the culprit. |

So I bought the Saga FLX Plus, which is stripped off all the bells and whistles and doesn't come with fog lights. I'm planning to custom install a pair of fog lights myself, but I can't seem to find any guides online or from this forum as well. Anyone here ever done it themselves can share their knowledge with me?
Also, there a lose, unplugged cable at the top right corner of my engine bay (don't have access to the car ATM, I'll post a picture of it when I can) which I assume is used to power one of the electronic accessories, the fog lights maybe. Anyone can confirm? This post has been edited by Heero Yuy: Oct 6 2016, 03:02 PM |

The back support might not install properly. The top part is hang type, maybe the seat is "unhang". 3. No idea 4. Put some oil at the both end of the spring hook. I use sewing machine oil for this and its silent now. 5. No idea, my Saga is a boy i guess because doesnt come with skirt. Hahah |

Check the air vent near the door, the whole panel just pulls off but takes a bit of force, then put a smear of silicone lube on the rubbing surfaces and hope that it was the problem. |
