Samsung should rush to collect all the Note 7 to reduce the explode case problem. (Take note this is worldwide) You want to see many people injury from news?

They can internal settle themselves to investigate the problematic of Note 7 devices. Customers are understand and let them take their times to settle for it, but NOT take high risk of their life still use that devices until end of this month for replacement.

If customers have their backup devices, then recommend to use back their devices for communication purposes.

If they dont have backup devices, samsung should provide temporary use of any samsung devices (at least people can keep in touch with you). If samsung currently don't have stock (for low-end devices), just provide the samsung voucher (for compensate purposes) to purchase other model of samsung devices for their customers.

They have, call them back but need to send the N7 first.

Hey guys, I was thinking if we wanna list down a list of things of to-do when collecting the new unit on 29/9 onwards? Instead of kelam kabutz (or maybe its just me, I got crowdophobia) but can slowly check following the list. Haha. Just suggesting.

Like,
1. Charge phone and do the below - check battery temperature
2. Update latest firmware ensure no bootloop.
3. Install "Phone Info Samsung" app to check production date, IMEI and also certify not recon unit
4. Check camera front and back
5. Check audio if breaking
6. Check IMEI if same with box
7. Check screen crack warranty and get free screen protector
8. Check new invoice for replacement unit
9. Check S Pen clicking mechanism - stuck or no stuck

This is mine. Lol. Just sharing. No need to follow no need to mock ya~

10. dial *#0*# check whether your unit got affected by dead pixel or not. Less than 5 cannot change IINM.

I think it will be the same as claiming for warranty. Just box and receipt will do.
The important thing is the imei on the box match with the receipt.

Digi called me, they offer 2 options of exchange.

1st by courier, they will send the new device to me and i submit mine to the courier man.

2nd walk in to my prefer digi Centre. Also 1 to 1 exchange on the spot.

"
There will be clear identifiers on the retail box of a new Galaxy Note 7 unit. Identifiers include a small black square on the white barcode label as well as a white sticker with a blue letter “S.” Samsung Australia is also going to establish an online IMEI database where customers will be able to verify using the IMEI number of a Galaxy Note 7 to confirm if it’s one of the new replacement units. One such database has already been set up by Samsung for customers in China and Hong Kong."

IS IT TRUE ?????

Unlikely anyone will put their N7 in a check-in luggage. Even if you really did, they won't be able to detect because even if the scanner sees a phone, it won't know what model/brand. If it does see a phone in the checked in luggage, most likely it will be stolen!

It's true. Samsung giving a loan phone, if you are lucky you will S6 Edge. Another forumite here said will get J7.
The drawback is if there is scratch or problem, need to pay for the repair.

Which Samsung store is that? Usually Samsung in KL Center won't bother if you are the original buyer as long you have the set and receipt.

It's not allowed to keep electronic devices and batteries in the check-in luggage. It has been the case for a while.
