It's not allowed to keep electronic devices and batteries in the check-in luggage. It has been the case for a while.

We just want this section fill with Samsung Note 7 recall/replacement process/other info etc etc. Not your complaint on the Note & dumping it for others etc etc.

People are getting tired of the constant complaints to note7. Don't they have better thing to do in life? Samsung is taking action to amend the issue by replacement. It's the best outcome for us the consumers.

No doubt that note7 is the best phone in the market. Smooth user experience and excellent battery life.

Many people bring up the removal of headphone jack done by iphone, yet i don't see many people use wired headphones on their hp.

Audiophiles who are serious about music quality do not use their hp as a music player. As for casual music listeners, they will be satisfied with beats and wireless headphones.

What's the big deal on the removal of headphone jack when majority of the people are not using it.

Operator called to ask what color i want for the replacement and the branch I choose to pick up at. The period for replacement is 30/9 - 31/10

Just tell operator what color you want and they will reserve a unit for you to pick up.

In my case, it was the operator who called and asked me about the color, venue, and date to pick up.

I hope we can buy a new phone by the end of the month. I don't feel like giving the replacement phone as a gift. Doesn't look good.

Of course, Samsung doesn't make such call as full accessories return. It's a decision made by SME. Accessories such as chargers and s-pen can be repackaged for resell.

I will go with only the phone and receipt and see how they respond to it.

You should make some noise in SME facebook regarding your situation.

There is no legitimate reason that SME can reject the phone return/replacement because of missing accessories.

SME do not want to hold any liability for battery explosion by not allowing the replacement.

Make a threat to SME and they will recede from the full accessries return statement.


Samsung Korea should change this shitty distributorship in Malaysia.

SME got more to lose by rejecting phone return because of missing accessories. They are risking the image and reputation of Samsung Korea.

Just need some lawyer to make some legitimate threatening words to SME.

I'm writing this message in hope to raise the awareness of Samsung Korea to overlook the inappropriate recall procedure imposed by Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME).

SME has imposed a recall requirement that makes us the owners difficult to return note7 for replacement, which is

"Replacement Conditions: Customers are required to bring the full box set including a charger and cable; headset and USB Connector"

Such requirement brings troubles to some of the note7 owners who might have lost accessories such as USB connector and headset.

It seems like SME cares more about their profit and willing to put the image and reputation of Samsung at risk by rejecting phone replacement because of missing accessories.

The proud Malaysian note7 owners wish the requirement for full box set accessories be removed. To make the replacement a smooth procedure.

Hope that Samsung Korea will take action to rectify the bad recall procedure in Malaysia.
