Common sense and play safe pls bring the whole box with all the items in it.

Read carefully on Samsung MY statement pls.....

Replacement Conditions: Customers are required to bring the full box set including a charger and cable; headset and USB Connector
*
Very simple ... if you don't have the charger, cable, headset and USB connector in the box, take these out from the new replacement unit and put them in the old N7 box.

DGCA bans Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in check-in bags

Unlikely anyone will put their N7 in a check-in luggage. Even if you really did, they won't be able to detect because even if the scanner sees a phone, it won't know what model/brand. If it does see a phone in the checked in luggage, most likely it will be stolen!

I flew long haul from Singapore to Europe yesterday on SQ and they announced on board not to charge or turn on the Note 7. If anyone wants to charge, they won't know.

I am continuing to use my Note 7 as normal as only a small percentage of phones are affected by that one supplier of battery and my understanding is that Malaysia SME sets battery are not from that supplier. When I fly, I just follow instructions not to power on or charge. Will exchange for new unit on September 29.

70% is small percentage...

that's how many Note7 phones are shipped with battery from the supplier/ manufacturer..
*
Source of your 70% affected? Most news report. less than 0.1% affected by the battery issue.

As far as i know, the airlines allow u to bring the note 7 on board, but customers are not allowed to turn on or charge the phone on board, and also are not allowed to put the phone in the checked in luggage.
*
Yes correct. No airline has banned the N7. You just can't turn it on or charge it or put in your checked-in luggage. No one will put a new phone in checked-in luggage anyway. I have flew long haul on SQ and a US airline with my N7 and no issue. I just switched it off.

Impossible for a Note 7 to bring down an aircraft even if it explodes.

FAA didn't ban Note 7 on planes. Read the article correctly before posting.

everyone knoe that, but it may cause injury to people biggrin.gif airline is for EVERYONE safety including the person who own note 7, if someone get injured because using note 7 on planes

if your mindset just because it is not going to have big impact, then you are so wrong
*
My response is not related to injuries to other people or not going to have impact. It is to correct the myth that a Note 7 can bring down an aircraft.

The title also said ban. You can only bring to aircraft with condition off and also disable alarm because alarm can also awake the phone. From article I think this apply to all mobile phone now.
*
Correct, the title of the article said "ban" but the content of the article doesn't say ban. My point is that we can't just read the title and follow it blindly and conclude that Note 7 is ban on aircrafts.

If your phone is switched off completely (power off), the alarm cannot wake up or switch on the phone. If you bring your Note 7 on board and power it off completely and don't charge it, you can bring it on board. This is the fact. Note 7 is not ban on aircrafts.
