Always there is no clear instructions or the message doesn't get to all be it Samsung partners or SME themselves. The staffs whether managers, supervisors call Center , service centres etc doesn't sync. Calls to careline or walk in to service centres always end up with different answers from different people. Sometime the answers given is what we want to hear , but you will have doubt whether the person is telling correct thing or just say it for the sake of not being question further or get scold.
My last call to YES careline was the best, the guy I spoke to doesn't even aware of the Note 7 fiasco. Just kept telling me if I have ordered a phone please collect on the date and from the location that I have chosen during order. When asked him if he can put me on hold and check with his supervisor or someone, he told me he can't do that. I end up by saying thank you and have a nice day.

Guys, still remember that Samsung claimed that Note 7 China version is totally safe since they are using different battery factory? Well, it seems that China users could not escape from the fiasco as well.

Today latest news from China, still is mandarin article at this moment (I will try to post the english news once it's out). According to the owner, it was happening during he was browsing the phone.

The question is why Samsung China edition would explode as well? Their battery are manufactured by ALT, not SDI. But still, the same thing happened. First we thought it's battery issue, so SDI took the responsibility and Samsung fired them. Now even ALT (China) also have the same problem. Looks like we are back to square one now. rclxub.gif

Samsung have recalled 18xx units of Note 7 from China Mainland few days ago which are released to dealers etc before 01/09 and should be using same battery as those 01st batch.

I have read the article but didn't keep the link. Anyway please read the 02nd article again .... not sure are you understand Chinese?

FYI The temperature of my Note 7 is very stable, even during charging, using GPS/Waze, Video Chat etc just rise a bit.

Those users have high temperature may be running too many app at background.

Enjoy it while it last. Mine was ever cool max 35C then suddenly everything haywire. And my app count is 5, core app only, no game no fb.

what we need to verify now is this blowed up is fall under the recall category or under hk based battery manufacturer? if yes, rest assured, if no, then if this hk battery gonna fix on the replacements, i think it can be very disastrous for samsung. gonna wait 10 days more for those opening it at 29th and see how. might let it go and get ip6s, the ifags gonna love it for sure. lol.
