Malaysia has the worst customer service. Even I'm now in China, they are working for us to exchange the phone. I call back SME and they insist me to surrender box set if I am to exchange in China. China Samsung said that I just need to send in phone and charger if exchange program is approved for foreigner like us. Basically I believe Samsung doesn't need us to return the box set and accessories. It's SME who being cheapskate on this.

I actually checked with Courts, apparently, all accessories need to be returned.

They will be given tokens for inconveniences caused. I believe they will ge tthe same tempered glass and screen crack warranty.

This is my understanding
1) 1 to 1 exchange - we are required to pass the phone and the accessories comes together with the box. no need to give back the the extra gifts.
2) Refund process - Need to pass the phone and the accessories comes together with the box to the Samsung service centre and get the service order number/report. call and provide the details to Samsung SC. Samsung SC will get it escalated to their management for the refund process. No ET provided by SC. but then, this def will be a lengthy process.

Still thinking if want to go for a refund, get the 1 to exchange and use the phone or sell it off.
personally, note 7 is one of the best android phone punched with good feature and good battery life (lets not get into the battery kaboom problem). But the edge screen...i feel its a drawback.. needs a lot of pamper

Just get a replacement and use it bro. After that if you feel you don't like it, you can still sell it.

Getting all the freebies (i.e. travel charger, wireless charger, battery pack, 1 year screen crack warranty, 1 tempered glass) with 10% discount, the phone itself only costs around RM1900 if all the freebies are calculated as retail price. So, you can consider to sell the phone with all the freebies again if you don't like it.

anyway, this is a good news for consumer as we can compare each other
got competition then they only can improve further on their product

maybe follow Apple as well give USB type C to 3.5mm jack instead lightning to 3.5mm jack
just like Motorola doing on their Moto Z, who knows
