Can u PM more info on CIMB Klibor
*
Just a quick info on Klibor since it is OT. Not expert on this. This was discussed on and off here. For the CIMB one have been getting 5.2% every 3 mths. Was alerted by one of the forumer that his has been called back by CIMB. So waiting for mine to be called back in Oct. Better for u to Google for more info under FRNID and Klibor. biggrin.gif

If i want to transfer my money ( more than 50k)  from one bank to another bank. Which is the best and cheapest method to do so? I dont have online banking. Sorry for my noob question.
*
Yes, I wonder too! Read about the replies suggesting cheque which costs RM0.53. So do they charge the same no matter what the amount is written on the cheque?

What about going to the bank counter & get to to transfer the amount to another bank? How much does this cost?

Not RM0.53 as another forumer mentioned? Bank cheque means you have to go to the other bank to bank in? Or they can transfer on the spot which was why costs you RM6? Sorry for asking such a stupid que sweat.gif

If bnm reduced the OPR, maybank will reduce the rate as well

MBB last year GIA-i with last 2 mth 6% payout, have not received the difference from them. Called the branch to chase after it. First time in last 4 or 5 mths that they missed it.

Anyway due on Oct 5. Was told the original amt will go on auto renewal and have to go to bank to terminate it. biggrin.gif

Thanks a lot! Just put into GIA, now just gotta wait for the returns. But based on our discussions, looks like OCBC 360 savings account is a better choice?
*
OCBC 360 is a better choice if the amount in the account is big as the difference in interest would be more than any cashback lost for credit card spending. This is for people who save more in the account than spend on the credit card.

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Sep 23 2016, 01:55 AM)
For those who want to earn >4%. A little fight to see who's the best.
Below is Maybank eGIA-i (save RM2k) + Maybank Ikhwan card (spending of RM1k/month) vs OCBC 360 full 4.1%(save RM2k) + any OCBC CC  (spending of RM1k/month)

The reason for no CB is OCBC CB is particularly zero.
*
Not all OCBC cards' cash back is close to zero. The min. spending on OCBC CC to qualify for bonus interest is RM500 only, not RM1,000.
