After some reports lodged, council everything said project already got kelulusan..now only left TM to install.. haish. every year promo unifi want new users but no service coverage.

let alone streamyx users only get rebranded only.

I received an email mentioned that I have outstanding balance of RM607.
The last change I did is removing TV pack which cost RM30 right after Unifi Lite's fixed RM69 bill.

WTF TM, don't tell me this is caused by contract bs.
Already called 100, got the report number and now waiting them to resolve.

I made a complaint about the extra tv pack too, they mention will excalate to their supervisor, then no more news. Now really awaiting patiently for this month bill. Dont know what to expect.

I've reported to MCMC and re-adjusted to RM69 from 1st Sept.

the price adjustment is true, but with some issues.

mine 8mbps adjusted to RM69/month without additional rubbish TV pack. Total = RM 69/month
my friend 8mbps adjusted to RM69/month but with UnifiTV Ultimate Pack (magically appear hmm.gif, before this never subscribe this) worth RM60/month and few other things. Total = RM 145/month

if your case same like my friend, better unsubscribe the additional TV pack via app of go to tmpoint

Mine also same. Turns out to be penalty for cancelling the tv pack. After that I went to TM. They waived the the penalty. Done.

It depends on how was your previous package.
Ask your friend check previous bill if TV pack is there.

Yeap, I received call yesterday but not able to answer at oversea.
Called 100 and confirmed that they trying to explain what happened and will waive the penalties.
Now waiting for the sms similar to yours...

This time they fix their screw ups faster than I thought.
Guess they are improving.

So far only unifi gets additional 3 months free usage. Those with no contract can opt in for additional 24 months contract but with 3 first month free.

2 days ago my bf received an email that his credit limit has reached 70%. first thing he did was asking me if I had made any oversea calls using house line,of course I didn't. buta2 kena scolded :/

I told him to contact TM Help first to check the credit limit charge. after chatting with 2 TM live chat CS officers (who gave very unhelpful answers),finally third guy explained that we have been charged RM300 for penalty of removal Unifi TV pack. I almost pengsan when he told us the bill for this month cost RM375.
Thank God he was been very helpful by apologizing about the mistake and filed a report for us to make new adjustment for the bill amount. Now we waiting for their answer because status of the report is still in process.

Log in your unifi.com.my account and look for the bill charge there. You should see the penalty fee under Unifi TV pack after internet charge. The CS officer told us the mistake was caused by their system error which automatically keyed in the penalty fee for any order to remove the Unifi TV pack.

Contact TM via email/live chat or call 100. They will ask for your details and personal info for verification first before making an order to remove the Unifi tv pack. Please copy the reference number of the removal order to check the status in the future.

Anyone have tried unifi air? How is the performance? Yesterday TM called to offer me unifi air.

Depends on your area, but generally they only offer to those with strong coverage i.e. around 20Mbps. By end of November, the website said will open the application to all within the coverage area.

They also called and offered 30-days trial ... (actually it's agreed 24-months contract, with 30-days cooling off period) ... so, if not satisfactory, can cancel and return the B618 modem (with simcard) to nearest Kedai Telekom.
So far so good ... only cons is my area seems to have very low upload speed ... supposed to be 20Mbps download/upload ...

Currently testing the 'unlimited' quota ... passed the 1,000GB mark already, will see when will the speed be throttled, if follow those 'fair usage' policy for wireless broadband network plans ...

Unifi Air 4G LTE modem plans use TM 4G LTE network which has poor coverage while Unifi Mobile Bebas phone plans use both TM and Celcom 4G LTE networks since Feb 2019. Celcom has much better 4G LTE coverage. .......

A 4G cell tower has a range of up to 3 miles/5km for Internet data and 10 miles for voice calls/SMS. 4G cell towers are usually located in city areas and along main roads and highways(= to cater for car nav apps like Waze). 4G cell signals are line-of-sight = blocked by walls, tall buildings, hills, etc. A 4G cell tower can only serve up to 60 users at any one time, on a 1st-come-1st-serve basis = network congestion during peak hours will result in slower dl speed and inability to connect to the network.

TM Unifi Fiber and Unifi Air are truly data-unlimited because TM has a monopoly on the HSBB Fiber network in West Malaysia. Even all its Unifi Mobile phone plans are data-unlimited, except for the postpaid UM 59 phone plan which is data-limited to 12GB per month. So, expect no throttling by TM unless TM has detected you doing P2P/torrenting or breaking the AUP, eg use the Unifi Air 4G modem plan on a 4G phone by transferring the SIM card.

3G HSPA = about 1.5Mbps
4G LTE = about 30Mbps in download speed.
4G LTE-Advance = about 130Mbps = Digi has just upgraded to this.

If i am accepting the offer...i need to let go hypptv and unlimited TM fixed line then...how much i need to pay to maintain phoneline?
