hmmm.. looks interesting.. while all of my neighbors using unifi lite 10mbps, I'm using digi infinite rm150 monthly. if 8mbps can get rm89, I want to subscribe it. if I subscribe now (rm160 price), coming September will it be reduced to rm69 straight away (existing user price)?

8Mbps can do what nowadays?
1 device streaming already take up the entire home network's bandwidth. Every other device stalls.

QUOTE(sagethesausage @ Jul 25 2019, 03:07 PM) Tm called to offer me Unifi 30mbps for rm89, good deal? Will there be free upgrade in the future if I refuse to upgrade? 1. Is it forever or will it revert to RM129 after 1-2 years? 2. Is there a compulsory add-on TV package costing RM30 that you can't avoid that's not included in the RM89 package?

Worth? Who knows next few months new players come out with newer plans from DiGi, YTL, TNB or Celcom using fixed wireless, Gigawire or new fibre network running on TNB poles. 2 years is a long time to be tied down.

QUOTE(nuvi @ Jul 28 2019, 08:51 PM) If revise price to RM69 will need to renew contract? Of course, if not why don't TM would just upgrade every Streamyx user's account automatically overnight with new speed profiles. You'll have to apply for it to be upgraded and that's where they silently make you sign their long contract with fine prints waiting for you to commit. TM never give you FREE things one. That's how they quietly changed their RM500 one-off termination penalty to remaining months penalty without informing it openly to their subscribers.

I just moved into a new housing area. I'm using Celcom and u mobile. I don't plan to subscribe unifi because I don't consume much internet currently (approx 80GB per month). However, I fear that TM may run out of port once more people moved in. That's what have happened in many areas. People resort to wireless cellular internet because of no port issue. Should I subscribe unifi today to secure my port for the future?
