Better change to your name first, then upgrade to unifi using your name. Can choose to maintain the phone number. Fyi, unifi bil inclusive the phone line. all together

Change to your name - RM10 charges. Then upgrade to UniFi and maintain the phone number, no more RM25 rental, voice plan RM20 if you want free calls. So if you get UniFi 30mbps at RM139, without voice plan the calls will be charged RM0.20/min.

I thought TM will upgrade to Unifi Lite at same streamyx price?

I too dont recieve the email even tho under unifi coverage... Ask the livechat, they ask me to terminate streamyx & apply unifi as new customer.😤

Just now TM call me and offer me RM30 discount for streamyx 1 Mbps, I just tell her save it for herself. When I ask her why all my surrounding housing all got unifi but my place doesn't, she just say my area will not get unifi because I'm in flat house area! I'm so pissed right now!

Reason: Initial finding, the UniFi service is not available at the moment and there is no Infrastructure planning for this service in near future at the located premise. TM had offered customer the discount another RM 30 for the Streamyx account and the new price will be RM 80.00 for streamyx 1Mbps . Mr XXX has been contacted on 23 July 2018 to inform on the finding. Customer acknowledged. case closed.

New Streamyx sign up now is RM100 for 8mbps. You can really consider get a new line and terminate the existing one.

On the sharing part, if you are in good term with your neighbour, why not. Can get one of them to subscribe 100mbps and you split the monthly bill. Pull wire to have an access point to your house and setup proper Qos and it should be good to go.

You do realized that streamyx upload speed is 512kbps right?, no matter which streamyx package. RM120 for 512kbps upload speed? And those on 8mbps streamyx suffer more, had to pay more.

Yup, no unifi lite. since I can't find NOVA ID for your address.....probably there will not be any fiber delpoyment anytime soon.
On the other hand, you might get 2x speed upgrade as long as your current streamyx package isn't 8Mbps.

Unifi fiber area but non-subb = wait for offer to upgrade to unifi lite (fiber) lor........and wait for that 100Mbps upgrade lah....
