Digi is not good at every place. Tried before. Even worst than Streamyx at my place.  bangwall.gif

have u tried using Huawei b618? this is the fastest 4g router right now.. can do carrier aggregation some more.. my place using tplink & dlink modem (no CA) only get 5mbps using digi.. after change to b618 (b3+b7 combined) can get 20-30mbps.. now happily using digi for 1yr already.. my home only can get shitmix 8mbps

If terminate can we go for wireless ?

Which LTE who give out unlimited or even 1TB data transfer ? like steam game ,updates , MS windows 10/IOS , updates everyday ? free netfix ?
btw , as I know , LTE sometimes latency ping unconsistence.I get before over 100ms while I saw some unifi user with 1-5ms ping.Streamyx is around 30-50 ping.

Where should I do the complain MCMC or SKMM ?
*
try the digi infinite + b618 (get it from tmpoint rm500+). this is the fastest 4g router right now & can select which band is faster in ur area. the infinite no contract. if it's still slow, just terminate it. u can resell back the b618 at ur buying price (rm500+). so for me it's not risky at all. I've subscribe to infinite 150 a year ago, using normal router speed is about 5mbps only. after use b618 can get 20-30mbos, straight away terminate my shitmix that time.. the ping is around 30ms at all time..

As I know , it is not unlimited.Didn't browse at digi thread but I remember some said digi infinite will capped if you D/U up to certain limit. What is the limit?
It also don't allow p2p when downloading large file because p2p can resume download.
Besides,  does digi infinite 150 allow tethering ? put a phone and connect your pc to the phone ? got 4G modem ? does it count as tethering if using the modem ?

Really , does it have warranty ? band ? sorry don't know much on 4G band. The router good ?  Does tmpoint allow us to buy like this ? Your ping is inconsistent as I know.Different area different ping.
Heavy user sure enough ?
So does digi Infinite capped your internet speed or does it allow p2p ?
*
no cap on p2p, unlimited quota. but digi will throttle ur speed once u reach 1000gb in a month (very unlikely). normally my usage is 400gb only every month. comes new month speed will come back to normal..yes it allows unlimited tethering.. that's y many people use it to replace shitmyx

im jealous af to those of yall who can simply go and terminate their streamyx then subcribe to unifi.

y don't u try digi infinite 150? many people jump from shitmyx to this package.. my resident area only max unifi lite 10mbps, after change to infinite, I'm getting average 40mbps, instant win for me. now 1.5yrs already staying with infinite. BUT, for better result, need to fork out rm500+ to buy Huawei b618 from tmpoint.

im not sure regarding digi coverage in my place. even maxis is pretty shit tbh. but maybe i can try the prepaid 1st and see how right?
*
yes. that's what everyone did. get a prepaid, buy longer internet (±2 weeks or more) test speed at home (multiple area) using different modem / phones. for my case, galaxy note 7 get me the fastest result around 15mbps, tp link archer mr200 also same. but once I get my hands on Huawei b618, my speed NEVER goes below 20mbps (even at peak hours). average is 30mbps (last year).

after 8 months of multiple complaints made to digi from last year, I noticed it's getting better now. my speed is averaging at 40mbps now & sometimes can hit 70mbps. my total data usage is about 700gb monthly.

note: other modems (tp link / d link / etc) won't get this kind of speed, because b618 has 4X MU MIMO antenna & can do carrier aggregation. u can even combine & lock any band u tested faster.

BUT if ur area is congested (tested speed is too slow) then that's it. try the prepaid 1st.

But that huawei expensive, any cheaper alternative as long as upload speed fast and stable. As alternative option to upload files to youtube, streamyx cant do that. cry.gif
That fibre optic expansion is still a dream. doh.gif
*
nope. tp link & d link 4g modem normally costs rm300+, might as well top up a bit & buy Huawei b618 at rm500+. it's worth it, since it can do carrier aggregation & lock band manually. my experience is at least 3X speed difference compared to other 4g modem.

some more this modem is now subsidized 50% by TM, u can check at lazada & shopee the normal price for NEW SET (not used) is rm1000+, so it's cheap already. money well spent for me. many others also experiencing 3X-5X speed difference when switch to b618 compared to their other modem.

But I want an alternative broadband(at the cheapest option, maybe prepaid card) to upload large video files only maybe once a week, since I already have streamyx but streamyx cant do that, the corruption rate too high for even files as big as 1GB size.

Dont know what you mean by the TM 50% subsidized stuff.
*
TM subsidized this modem for customer who register unifi mobile. so u only pay rm500+ (buy the modem outright). if unifi mobile slow in ur house can terminate straightaway online via tm live chat. a lot of people just terminate it within 1-2hrs after getting the modem. because unifi mobile riding on celcom network, but wayyyy slower than celcom speed. anyway, we are just getting this modem to be use on digi infinite. because, this is THE FASTEST 4G LTE MODEM available in the world today (I mean for consumers, for big big business / corporate surely there's other faster modem available)

You missed the point.
4G is mobile internet, very different from fibre internet.
Streamyx users has no fiber coverage, that's why there have to have private deal with the Maxis prime one users to rent their 4G SIM. Share the cost. Win win.
*
1st requirement is ur house area got unifi. coz maxis piggyback on tm Fibre infra. if ur home no unifi then that's it. u can't subscribe to this new maxis plan. I've already call maxis, my house area got unifi lite 10mbps also they can't do it, coz their 4g home need 'true' unifi infra, not the unifi lite one.

2nd requirement is, got enough port. this is more or less same as unifi subscription. even if ur house got the Fibre infra, unifi still can say no to you, citing no available port. sigh..

Provided that the 4G LTE is unlimited qouta.

the only 4g lte available with unlimited quota right now only digi infinite 150. but if tm offer shitmyx user with unifi mobile with unlimited quota just forget it. I've been trying out their so call unifi mobile for a week earlier this year. it rides on celcom network, but throttled too much. during my observation, if at the same area celcom can get 20mbps, unifi mobile can only get 4mbps speed. the speed is only 25%-40% maximum compared to celcom speed.

hmmm.. looks interesting.. while all of my neighbors using unifi lite 10mbps, I'm using digi infinite rm150 monthly. if 8mbps can get rm89, I want to subscribe it. if I subscribe now (rm160 price), coming September will it be reduced to rm69 straight away (existing user price)?
