Spend Rm2000 on alternate month, eg pay electricity bills, buy groceries, pay mobile bills every 2 months. Get Rm600 and pay Rm170 annual fee. 430/12000, return at least 3.58%. still acceptable, compared to other cash rebate cards.

QUOTE(Duckies @ Sep 19 2016, 11:07 AM) Sadly the petrol rebate must be the machine outside...if the petrol rebate for the counter inside could work then I can hit the 2k tier with 100 bucks CB. Just curious. Swipe at counters to TopUp petrol card or touchngo? Then swipe Rm1000 at counter and Rm1000 at pumps, mobile bills, electricity, or groceries. Still get Rm100 CB.

there are some tx you will not get >1% rebate, such as insurance, medical, tuition, charity, cukai pintu etc. Just dump this tx into wise card and u will earn less a few RM only. Just consolidate your swipes in the months that u can swipe >Rm2k, eg pay 2 month electricity bills in a calander month. Not necessary spending > Rm2000 every month. If your total cash back in 1 year >Rm770, it is still a very wise.card, better than other cash back cards.

QUOTE(SzeMeng76 @ Aug 29 2017, 12:03 PM) Q: When will the cash back be credited into Principal Cardholder's account? A: The cash back will be calculated at the end of each calendar month and will be credited to the principal Cardholder's account on the 28th of the following month. Cardholder will see this reflected in their statement then. Aug transaction, credited on 28 Sep. Not really August transactions! Correction: All the transactions POSTED in August and shall be >RM2000.

QUOTE(Angeline @ Sep 2 2017, 02:40 PM) lets say my statement date is 15/8/17 and I spend >RM2000 from 16/7/17 to 15/8/17, so, the cash back for 16/7/17 to 15/8/17 will be paid on 28/9/17? or it is calculated from 01/8/17 to 31/8/17 and paid on 28/9/17? All the transactions POSTED on 1/8 - 31/8 (provided the total amount >RM2000) (Note: NOT transactions done on 1/8 - 31/8, i.e. may include transactions made before 1/8 and exclude transactions made on 30/8-31/8 or other dates) the cashback will be paid on 28/9 and you will see the credit on 29/9 (online) or 15/10 (statement).

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Sep 21 2017, 10:13 PM) Gold AF = RM250 + GST = RM265, Platinum AF = RM300 + GST = RM318 Even old folks with RM160 + GST = RM169.60, the most CB percentage is only 4.29%... There are many banks out there with 5%/6% CB with AF waiver for special stuff like petrol/dining/grocery/online/departmental/entertainment/utility etc, unless u plan to spend RM2000 per month on just mobile plan... you might even consider to use AMEX to pay them on weekend to get 5% CB as well Every month I spend >RM1000 on Govt-related transactions and insurance (no other cards can give good cashback % on these transactions), another RM1000 on selected categories. My return is >8%. better than M2 Amex, Public VS. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Sep 22 2017, 03:58 PM

QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 22 2017, 04:06 PM) Govt tx almost zero cashback, insurance max 0.5% cashback, if I use other cards. So RM1000 at 3 categories every month (RM1200 Cashback - AF RM170)/RM12000 = 8.5%.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ Sep 22 2017, 06:28 PM) Should be divide by RM24,000 if you fulfill the yearly cash back RM1,200, roughly 4.3% Minimum spending on this card is RM2000 monthly, RM1k for selected categories, RM1k for non-categories or categories But govt & insurance tx, you will not get 5-6% cash back at M2Amex, PB VS/Quantum etc. So I compare Apples to apples, not Apples to (Apples+orange). ie you can never get RM1200 (5%) to RM1440 (6%) cashback on that RM24k (govt+insurance+utilities) if you use other cards. QUOTE(vince-90 @ Sep 27 2017, 05:40 PM) How u got >RM1000 on Govt-related transactions every month? Only certain month i got only. Same boat too. The total amount rebate is very crucial for me. I think those who still holding WISE card are on the same boat with us. Haha mostly cukai pintu bills (>RM10k), unfortunately the bills cannot be paid online by using credit cards, M2U-Amex or using Amex during weekend.
