Anyone managed to successfully update their TM-AC1900 to Merlin 384.6 Beta 1?

Just flashed one of them to latest version of Merlin, then configure it into AP mode. All I can say is that this router has no business being only RM238.00, it should have been at least twice the price.

my router wifi keep turning off. need to enable radio manually every few mins.

tried changing the wifi channel for both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz but it doesnt helps.

anyone know any workaround for this? flash to tomato or default firmware?

Have you try reset your router?
My suspect here maybe due to firmware update.

i tried reset, even NVRAM reset. flashed to previous firmware. but the problem still there. wifi will auto turn off in a few mins.

Haven't try to flash one. Any luck flashing over SSH? Works for me the time when normal flashing blocked the update.

No problem with 380.70 so far.
Might not be related but try get your time and date updated.
Reflash through CFE if problem still persists after factory reset and NVRAM reset

i did update the time later on and flashed it again through CFE and reset my NVRAM. problem still there. should i try tomato firmware? im using this as an AP anyway.

Did you see anything unusual on the system log?
Maybe clip and share here for the expert can help.

Seem like hardware issue here, what is 5ghz temperature?
If very high, try disable 2.4ghz and see if this get you to run longer before turning off?

Haven't try advanced tomato yet but i realize it uses more CPU so i stick to XWRT.
Are you using AP mode? Try change to default wireless router mode and see the problem persists?

if buying asus ac68 or ac86 from taobao, can it work out of the box with unifi?
is there any case happens to receive faulty unit since its not covers by asus malaysia?

Running on Merlin 380.69. Suddenly 5G SSID not appearing on my mobile devices. Only 2.5G. Any workaround?

Looks fine on the router control panel/settings. Tried to toggle the radio button on/off but to no avail.

Usually its because the auto channel assign to channel not reconize by your phone due to lock region etc, change the channel

No need Huawei already... nowadays Tenda is quite cheap and comes with 3 years warranty if Im not mistaken.

You can try AC18 on Lazada.
